Chalets à Cayuga

« The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms right on the shore of Lake Seneca, at a walking distance from downtown Geneva. There are very nice lake views and access to a beautiful lake promenade. HOWEVER, the lack of staff can be felt throughout the facilities. Our rooms (my party had 3 of them) were never serviced, even though we asked three times to have fresh towels and coffee-making supplies. We had to ask at the desk for towels and supplies, but the promised room service never...

« While the staff was very helpful and thing were clean, one of the queen beds had a poor mattress with a groove from a single sleeper on one side. They do not have either a refrigerator or a microwave in their rooms and no chair with ottoman. »

« Though the resort was beautiful and clean, things we wish we were told at check in; the $10 a day credit, activity list, the service side of the do not disturb door sign (would think house keeping would be automatic unless not requested) $30 resort fee plus taxes each day!!!! Things that could be improved; free coffee/tea/hot chocolate all day, a continental breakfast. Housing keeping making sure to replace cups and coffee, and leaving only one cookie?!?! »

« If you stay at this or any other Holiday Inn, you’d better be very limber with good knees or bring a toilet seat riser! The toilets are like the ones in grammar schools!! »
