This is the area we have come to visit quite often in recent years. We used to stay at B&Bs. But this time none was available. So we choose this hotel for it looked quite nice on the web. Our personal experience at the hotel, however, exceeded our expectation. The suite was spacious. It offered a view of the river. The lounge had a classic deco. Above all, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had all our meals at the Arlington Bar and Grill across the street. It had a...

What a great little hotel!! Perfect location for walking around the downtown area. Very clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice and do all they can to ensure you have a great stay.
Just a note that it is a bit of a climb up the stairs to the front door if you don't get one of the alley parking stalls. They will cover your meter if you park out front.
Thanks for the enjoyable weekend away :)

On the outside it looks like the style of a older motel. Unlocked the door, both myself and the driver were amazed how wonderful it was inside.
So clean and well taken care of.
Double queen bed in a very large room. The usual fridge, TV coffee maker with the fixing.
Bed was so comfortable, it was easy to fall asleep.
The bathroom was tiny. Loved the shower, so relaxing.
Was greeted by a very nice and welcoming couple.
Would be great for the summer months too as the have a large cordoned off are...
