This is the area we have come to visit quite often in recent years. We used to stay at B&Bs. But this time none was available. So we choose this hotel for it looked quite nice on the web. Our personal experience at the hotel, however, exceeded our expectation. The suite was spacious. It offered a view of the river. The lounge had a classic deco. What a great little hotel!! Perfect location for walking around the downtown area. Very clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice and do all they can to ensure you have a great stay. Just a note that it is a bit of a climb up the stairs to the front door if you don't get one of the alley parking stalls. They will cover your meter if you park out front. Amazing stay. I was in Castlegar for business and drove out here late to get a good nights rest. I was lost in the pitch black and called the hotel. The service I received was amazing. He made sure I arrived at the hotel and parked my vehicle safely for me so I did not have to walk alone in the dark. My room was 5 star. I stay in many hotels for work and this is top notch. The facility is always clean, top to bottom. They have a covered area with a fire pit. Nice touch. The owners are very amiable and helpful. Will return.

I found coffee for previous customer in the cooler in my room. Housekeeper didnt check and clearn up in the cooler?

Didn't have time to use the rooftop sauna but our room was great, location is great (right in the middle of the action), and a great pub right downstairs with great food.

Great stay, we would stay there again. Hot tub was broken but they gave a credit towards our next booking.
