"Amazing concept with room for a lot of improvement especially with the staff "

"The food was absolutely horrible and since I’ve been back, I have not been able to keep anything down. I was going to the doctor tomorrow. Staff was very nice. The amenity is poor. It really wasn’t much to do. There was an older resort very large and no transportation to get to one and to the other so if you were disabled or have problems walking you pretty much couldn’t go to the end of the resort, the drinks were good. It was a mixed crowd, but you had to be careful they they poured very strong watch some people like but if you didn’t pace yourself, you would get way too out of control that was probably the least thing that I disliked, but the food was almost un edible"

"A sign from the main road to direct you to the hotel would be helpful. My original room was not 100% clean. They switched us to another room with no issues. There is no room serve option at rhis resort, which was inconvenient for us as we wanted to sleep in and relax the morning of our anniversary. It's hard to make reservations at any of the à la carte restaurants. We were able to make a reservation at the steakhouse. The food was okay. There was a massive food selection in the main dining hall. As a Caribbean person, I found they used jerk chicken to make stew chicken, which was a bit off. Probably a kichen chef hack to ensure the food isn't wasted. They need to offer more of a drink selection during dinner, as you couldn't get any mixed cocktails, only wine, beer, and champagne. The staff were friendly and attentive in the dining hall. The entertainment was lively. We saw a tribute to Michael Jackson show and the nightclub was fun. The beach is clean with a lot of seating. Beach umbrellas would be nice. Overall, it was a nice stay for three nights. I'd probably want to see what the other Riu locations have to offer before returning to this one."

"We had a nice stay at the Wyndham Alltra Punta cana. only a few things that kept it from being a 5/5 stay. Ill just jump right into this. The room became humid and everything was damp and began to smell of mildew. This could have been user error when it came to the AC, my friends room was not humid and did not have an odor. The staff was friendly for the most part. We are not native spanish speakers and some of the bar tenders were less friendly and drinks were not consistent in taste or presentation. The pool water was clear and the water was warm but some of us had green algae stains on our white bathing suites. The food was great but the options in between meal times were limited. as for amenities, the resort offered a pool that expanded the length of the resort which was beautiful and you always had your own space. there is a water park with a small lazy river and a few water slides and plash pad for kids which is a nice touch. we were traveling with a 3 year old so this was a hit for him. other then that there really aren't any other amenities. for the food, the buffet was always great and the food was always fresh. we ate at the Italian restaurant which was actually decent, the Mexican restaurant was OK. I would have rather eaten at the buffet though. I would have loved to have more Dominican food options. Lasty, if you're looking for a party resort, this is NOT it. very calm and relaxing environment. overall great option for a budget friendly resort."
