The Sri Panwa is a special special place unlike any we have ever visited before. The staff, accomodations, hotel, spa are all 5 stars. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to returning some day! As someone that works in hospitality hotel industry it is impressive and refreshing to stay at a property with standards and sincereity. Thank you Sri Panwa for everything! We can not wait to come back soon!

We stayed for 4 nights earlier this month. It was divine! The room was huge and more like a 1 bedroom apartment. The bed was large and comfy, the bathrom had a beautiful bath with a built-in pillow so one could lay back and enjoy the superb view, the shower and toilet were separate and there were 2 basins. There was also a large his and hers wardrobe, and in the living area, there was a desk, couch and chairs. The blinds are electric so one can decadently lay in bed, flick a switch and open them to the magnificent view each morning. And this was the cheapest room!! The infinity pool was fabulous. The sun lounges are comfy and very wide. The resort is set on a hillside so the views are superb - from the room, from the lobby and from the restaurant. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of dishes and hot items could be chosen from the menu.
This place is really more suited to couples (rather than young families) and those without fitness issues as there are a lot of steps and steep paths. The resort provides (golf) buggy assistance for those needing to be transported around but there are steps to just about every room.
The resort has its own private beach with sun lounges and staff to teach you how to stand up paddle board or kayak (all free).

Coming into the hotel we were surprised with the view just like the photos. The room was beyond our expectations with a sea view. There were minor defects in our room e.g. small crack in a tile and a basic leaked which was repaired without mentioning it. So I suspect they already knew about it.
The staff were beyond friendly, by the half way through our stay the chefs had learnt by partners breakfast habits and cook it. We had breakfast opened early for us the last day just for two.
To add more detail about the location which some reviews have extremes. The location is a ten minute or so drive from by shops in phuket town. However there is a deli across the road we only noticed on the last day (it's extremely cheap compared to Western targeted stores you'll be taken to). Compared to the tourist actives it's relatively far, therefore activities you'll be charged more but $4-8 isn't going to break the bank. Being away from the tourist location is lovely as it's more quiet in comparison to patong, however taxi's will cost more as they know they can exploit this. A day driver is the best remedy.
A few reviews mentioned the view, it is a mud flap so at low tide the outside view will become muddy but then you get to see all the crabs scuttle. It's only low tide for a couple of hours.
I would say this is the best value 5 star hotel you'll get in phuket. My pilot on the way home mentioned it's his choice when he stays overnight too or with his family.
Spent our two week honeymoon at Cape Panwa Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very attentive, great food although free shuttle bus down hill provides even more eating varieties and slightly cheaper alternatives.
Great private beach and beach side bar, two large pools and beach/pool towels supplied.
plenty of trips available at a reasonable cost, tailors available close by as well as plenty of cheap massage centers.
Although July was the monsoon season the temperature was a constant 27 - 33 degrees even at night, but that is no problem with the very generous room/two air conditioners, safe, king bed, TV, lounge, bar fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a spa and day bed on the balcony. Very quite and private rooms. Friendly helpful staff 24hr room service and when we mentioned it was our honeymoon we got fruit basket, cake and towels in the shape of two swans and fresh flowers on the bed. Would definitely recommend Cape Panwa Hotel to anyone looking for a quite get away with all the facilities.

Really enjoyed our 8 day stay
The food was very good and nearby beach resteraunts are literally on the beach. Perfect to unwind and relax.
About 40 minutes from Patong so best to hire a car or if you prefer a scooter.
Have your own wifi as the hotel wifi is practically unusable. It will boot you off within 1 minute if you read a blog but if you continually stream, play music or watch a video you are ok for 2 hours then blocked that day.
Excellent deal with flights included so I may stay again if I cannot get another Panwa hotel cheap deal. We use wifi regularly and the hotel management know of the issues but the owner is unwilling to fix. Been a long standing problem apparently.
Located 10 minutes south of Phuket Town, this cape is populated by rubber and palm plantations. Major attractions in the area include quiet beaches, the Phuket Aquarium at the Marine Biological Centre, and the deep sea port and naval base. On the western side of the cape is a yacht club offering regular yachting and family-orientated activities.
