Beautiful, lush, tropical property nestled on the side of a hill. Rooms were spacious and had separate areas for soaking tub and shower, which was a plus. Bed mattress was pretty hard, so not good for my back, but used extra pillows, which helped. Two restaurants on site. Food was delicious, plentiful, and inexpensive. The young saxophonist who provided live entertainment at dinner in the main restaurant was absolutely AMAZING!! Could have listened to him all night long. Shuttles picked up directly from the resort for excursions to Phi Phi and James Bind Islands. Staff friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. Pools clean and refreshing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

WOW! This was the last hotel we stayed at on our Honeymoon and we could not have made a better decision! We stayed in the Sea Pearl Room with private pool access and it was a dream! The amenities were fantastic, the beds were super comfortable (which is rare in Thailand) and it was very clean. The private pool access was definitely a plus! If you do opt to stay at this resort, be prepared to walk! The resort is on a hill so in order to get around, there are multiple little hills. It's not too strenuous, just be prepared. The restaurant had stunning views and a wonderful breakfast buffet. There were a lot of options in terms of food. The location is great too. Just far enough from the main area of Karon beach to not be bothered by the action, but close enough that you can easily access by foot or taxi. Karon Beach definitely caters more towards families and couples. It is more tame than the Patong area of Phuket. We would definitely recommend this hotel 10/10!

The property was pretty but not very accommodating. We had a circumstance beyond our control of needing to adjust our stay and they absolutely wouldn't help us and sent out a junior staff and wouldn't let us speak to a supervisor...they blamed Expedia for not being flexible when in actuality it was their resort as Expedia said they would approve our change though Expedia did not give that to me in writing...its extra cost we are out of pocket unless Expedia can do something for us retroacively. They wanted me to call Expedia from there but id have wasted what precious little time we had in this area. My advice to Expedia is not uae hotels that don't have a cancelation policy as life happens and sometimes needs changes. They nect accommodation id booked was emailing me and stating so accommodatingly that if we needed to cancel or change anything for any reason that we could up to 48 hrs before. I had tried to adjust our stay at Mandarava 30 days before we got there and they would not help us....sadly looks like we're out $$$$ Please drop this resort or require a change in their inflexible policy aa it seems a bit prehistoric.

Lovely resort, friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice food, good location. Wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t able to walk up and down hills or if you want a beachside resort.

This has been the best resort that I’ve stayed out. Excellent buffet breakfast and wonderful staff. I love the mango pool. They even left me a cute birthday message and a beautiful great tasting cake and I didn’t even tell them it was my birthday. They go above and beyond for their guest. If you’re looking for a resort in Phuket, look no further. You won’t regret it.

we really enjoyed our Stay, a beautiful resort. only one minor suggestion, more frequent transfers to/ from the Beach would be good. only 4x times through the day currently available.
