"This trip I took with my family will be one for the books! They took care of us and made us feel right at home away from home. Very friendly and kind, it is to note though that food delivery times (room service) took a while to arrive to us so it’s better to order in advance so you can eat at a reasonable time and not wait 2 hours for food. Will come again soon "

"Stayed for 5 days. The staff was so pleasant & nice, really hard workers! Property only has 2 pools which were fine. Wasn’t over crowded. Housekeeping cleaned my room everyday. Make sure you RSVP for restaurants, the buffet was good too. They had entertainment during the day at the pool & in the evening. Michael Jackson show was great! There were a lot of couples & families here. If you’re looking for a party resort or lots of singles this is the place for you. I do recommend coming, I will back for sure. "

I’m so glad we decided to experience the awesome care and amenities at that level. It actually was our best vacation as a result. This is what you work hard for. Please don’t miss your chance. "

"Opened in November, so very new. All rooms have ocean view. I had Jr suite so really nice room ( free upgrade, yea) i dont understand any review that said bland food. Food was 5 stars. Not bland at all. Nightly activities were a lot of fun. Never had a problem finding lounge chairs at the pools. Only downer was i bought a necklace and 15 min. later went to return it as i felt it was to expensive. NO RETURNS. No signs saying so. It is printed on the receipt....so AFTER you pay, you find out no refunds. Kinda deceitful . I still give 5 stars! Staff was amazingly friendly. Wont let me upload photos. I had a bunch. To bad."

"our stay at the Haven was perfect! This was our first time traveling out of the US so naturally we heard about safety concerns, getting sick from food and drinking water could be dangerous. We arranged private transport to and from the airport and I highly recommend for first timers! it takes the pressure of having to find a ride to your hotel. Amstar was super friendly! Once we arrived at the hotel, we were blown away at how beautiful and picturesque the property was. We booked the junior swim out suite which is nice if you want private swim time with your partner. Pools are open pretty much 24/7 though. We ordered room service a couple times and breakfast was delicious! The other time was 2am and it wasn’t good at all. As far as other food, I’d give it a 6/10 overall. some things were good and others were bland. Satsu was the best dinner option and honestly the hot dogs and hamburgers they served by Voramar for lunch was a better option. The main buffet, Flavors, did the job when we trying to fill up but didn’t have any spectacular food. Alcohol was watered down at times but that’s because of the ice and how hot it was. The staff was a 10/10. They made this trip so enjoyable. They were friendly and made sure we didn’t go without anything, whether it was food, alcohol or an activity to do! We laid on the beach which was nice but Seaweed prevented us from entirely swimming but Haven staff was out there everyday trying to remove the seaweed. Overall this trip was 10/10!"
