The hotel is very beautiful, very modern. The architectural details are interesting but not always practical. For example, there are many steps that, on the one hand, are steep, on another hand, are shallow, making walking difficult even for healthy people. As my husband arrived with a recently broken leg, he had very limited chances to enjoy the outside. The view from our room was beautiful though. We met the chef and he is definitely talented but a better dining program would be welcome. With more interaction and (much) better choice of wines. The cocktails were rather good.

Don’t think twice about clicking on and reserving at MÍA Hotel and Resort! Excellent location and service! Our little family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay. While the lagoon and location are absolutely breathtaking, it is the people that made our experience so memorable and wonderful; especially, Andrea “Gong” (Reception); Daniel, Angel and Manuel (Hunab Ku Servers); Ignacio (Pontoon Tour Guide); Alondra (Sip and Paint); and Leydi (Reception). "Check in was quick and easy. Room was fine. Quiet and clean. Spacious and near the pool. Pool was very nice. Ben was great with information how to walk to the lagoon fifteen minutes away. Bring bug repellent. It is a jungle out there. Found the lake and had the place all to ourselves. Spectacular. ..."
