A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. "Great stay for a weekend hiking getaway with friends! The house was clean and nicely renovated. The beds were comfortable and the AC in all the upstairs bedrooms were great for cooling the house. The free snacks and coffee were a delightful surprise! There was easy car access to the main entrance to Acadia. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the evenings at the fire pit. It’s definitely a go-to place for our group the next time we are at Acadia!"

"First off, the location could not be better - depending on the building you're in and the floor you're on, the views of Bar Harbor are nothing short of breathtaking. Then, it's just a mile walk to nearly any point in the town, on a shared-use path or sidewalk; and the hotel is just a two-mile drive up to the Hulls Cove Acadia Visitor Center. The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough - they came through with a band-aid one day (post-hiking) and a pair of pliers another day (removing a nail from my car tire). There is significant value for the money; our room was spacious, the amenities plentiful, and the bed quite comfortable. The coffee and water stations on the lobby level were an added touch, as was the well-stocked gift shop. Not being "breakfast people", we did not avail ourselves of the Mizzentop restaurant, which to some small part I wish was open for dinner, but as I noted, the town with its abundant restaurants is just so close, and the weather was perfect for walking. All in all, if and when we return to the area, I hope to stay at Bluenose again!"

"Stayed with 2 young kids - 2 queens - was a huge room with plenty of space for suitcases open etc. stayed 3 nights and was a fab location in bar harbor. Free parking was great and handy to have free breakfast included too. Jordan’s pancakes for breakfast across the road as an alternative was also convenient. Walkable to everything in bar harbor and fab base to explore Acadia national park."

"Immaculately clean room and property , but they don’t have enough towels in the bathroom for two people. They also don’t have good floors , we could hear the people next-door as if they were elephants trotting through the room. We were woken up by them at 6am and never could fall back asleep again. The noise was very bad."
