Staff was fantastic and breakfast was really good, will stay again when back in area.

The lodge was very clean, the view is incredible. We were there early in the spring so the restaurant was not open. We had adjoining rooms with our family and shared a kitchenette which was wonderfully stocked. Brier Island is very nice to visit and a cozy place to explore. Had a wonderful time.

I like how they take care for customers,

Booking through Expedia said “River view”; however given a room “On the River”. Best to call the lodge to book in order to be clear on the room you want. A little extra cleaning can go a long way in the pool and cabins, but they just opened the week we went so I feel it probably will improve throughout the year. The staff (especially Sharon at the front desk), dinner menu and things to do in the area made it a 5/5.

Older property and showing her age however the beds were comfortable and the complementary breakfast had the basics. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Due to a few issues with our room; hairdryer didn’t work, no plug in bathroom sink and debris under bed, the hotel gave us a discount.
