"Everything was put together nicely, the cleaning prior to us staying there wasn’t as detailed in the bathroom as I’d like it to be. Make sure you bring your own wash and dry towels. Secure tissue products and trash bags in advance."

"This stay was absolutely amazing! The house looked exactly like the pictures, which is always a plus. There was so much space throughout the home, and the layout was perfect for a group. The multiple bathrooms were a huge convenience, especially the ones with double showers—that was a standout feature for us.The amenities really made the experience: we enjoyed the pool table, used the karaoke machines, and had fun with the board games provided. Everything was well thought out and set up for guests to actually enjoy the space.The host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. When I had a small issue with the key upon arrival, the host addressed it immediately—within about 5 minutes, which I really appreciated.The only minor downsides are that the parking is limited (about three spots behind the house) and the neighborhood isn’t the best, but honestly, the house itself more than makes up for it. If you’re from Detroit or familiar with city living, you’ll easily look past the area because the home is truly a gem.Overall, an excellent stay, beautiful home, and a great host. I would definitely book again and highly recommend this property"

"We had a wonderful stay in this spacious, historic Detroit home. It easily accommodated our large family, with a perfect gathering spot around the big dining table and plenty of room to spread out for games and long conversations.We did encounter a major glitch upon arrival, but the owner handled it immediately and with true grace and was incredibly responsive, helpful, and committed to making things right.Overall, a great home base for our family trip, and we appreciated both the charm of the house and the outstanding host support."

"The stay was very disappointing. The tub was dirty with hair in it, and the bathroom sink also had hair stuck in the stopper. The carpet and furniture had stains, and I even found an old spill under the couch that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The hot water pressure was extremely low, and overall the space just didn’t feel clean or comfortable. I didn’t even shower because the bathroom felt too unsanitary. The place did not feel like “home,” and the lack of cleanliness really affected the stay."
