This place is amazing!! It’s a perfect little kitchenette that’s is clean and comfy. The owner is a super nice guy! It seems odd because you have to call to get into the building, almost looks closed. But it is not! I completely recommend this small hotel and will be staying again next time I am in Hamtramck. My room even came with a shoe horn! Stayed here after a lions game. Great place. These are comfortable, medium to long stay units rented out for competitive nightly rates. The interior is simple, but I was wanting for nothing. We had a queen bed, table with two chairs, kitchenette with full sized fridge, gas 4-burner stove, sink and silverware. Bathroom was well stocked with the standard toiletries and towels. There was no tub, but that wasn’t an issue. I do have to say that Veterans Park Hotel has, by far, the most comfortable pillows I have ever come acroas in a hotel. Notes: it is listed on the booking page but it looks like some of the other reviewers missed it, the front desk is not staffed 24/7\. This makes sense because it does look more like a medium/long stay place. All you have to do is call the owner when you’re about 5 minutes out and he will meet you there.
