Beautiful historic property that has been meticulously maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast included a good selection of freshly made options. I would highly recommend the Detroit Club.
We stayed for 2 nights. We loved the amenities and the overall vibe of the hotel. The spa was excellent and the location made it easy to get anywhere in Detroit easily. We plan on returning next time we need a hotel in Detroit
This is a very beautiful hotel! Staff was so helpful. The valet was awesome! Opened the front door every time we went out or in. Restaurant was really good. The esthetic was just so beautiful!
It was a great stay! The entire place was beautiful and well kept. We ate at the restaurant and the waiter was amazing and the food was SO good. They also have breakfast in the library in the morning and we didn't know that until arrival so that was a nice perk. There is a dress code and being role followers we mace sure to follow it to a T, but many other guests did not. We had a short stay and already wan't to go back so we can take full advantage of the spa and other amenities!
Had a hiccup when we got to the property with our room unlocking but was fixed rather quickly. The library bar was nice to relax and enjoy a drink during happy hour. The waitstaff was very helpful letting us know about the free people mover across the road which was a bonus!! The bed was comfy. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast including egg bites, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt and keurig coffees.
Beautifully maintained historic hotel. Very unique place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable. One night stay for a concert so didn’t get to enjoy any of the extra amenities, but would like to stay again to get the whole experience. Breakfast was underwhelming but do appreciate that it was offered.
The location was perfect. The property was beautiful. The only thing I would mention is the bedsheets were very uncomfortable. The bedsheets, my husband said felt like sandpaper. This is an easy fix for the property.
We will definitely stay there again.
Beautiful, historical property in downtown Detroit. The rooms were large, relaxing and stocked with amenities. There is a Grotto and spa available to guests. The hotel offered several restaurants and a great bar space called The Library. They offered reasonable food options and craft cocktails. Close to the people mover to get to events. We are talking about a weekend trip to explore the downtown and take better advantage of the amenities offered by Detroit Club.
Remarkably comfortable. Great breakfast, distinctive ambiance, refined, wonderfully convenient. First time visitors and it made our time in Detroit very enjoyable.
This place is beautiful and well restored. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and the location couldn't have been better.
Beautiful building and exquisite room. Felt safe and secure as a solo traveler with a vehicle. Library Bar was understaffed and uncomfortably cold, so I went back to my room. I regretted not being able to enjoy the full “club” experience.
We loved the Detroit Club! The rooms are very nice! We loved the grotto and spa. Bruno was the cherry on top of the stay.
For ways to improve, I’d recommend a full length mirror for the rooms.
This hotel is very unique and beautiful. We loved the room, the beds were comfortable and the entire hotel was clean. The staff was amazing!! The Detroit People mover is right across the street which makes it convenient to go catch a Tigers’ game or visit most of the city. We definitely want to plan another stay!!
The staff were amazing and so helpful. The bedroom was beautiful decorated and keeping with the style and era of the building. I didn’t get to use the spa, but next time for sure. Don’t miss it!
Absolutely LOVED my stay. From check in to check out. Gratitude for the welcoming energy, especially as a POC. Our room was very clean, needs met and vibes were high and lovely. I can’t WAIT to come back.
A very unique hotel! Accommodations were unlike any other that we have experienced. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast served at the lovely bar was very good. The decor and furnishings are appropriate to the club’s history. We would recommend The Detroit Club to anyone who appreciates an unusual night’s sleep.
