« You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set. »

« The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again. »

« Very disappointed with location. Property is located in the middle of nowhere. The roads were curvy and dark. No restaurants or gas stations close. The outside appearance looks like it’s still under construction. The inside was very nice, but no welcome basket or complimentary coffee/tea. I wouldn’t revisit. Priced too high. »

« The property was not what I initially expected, but in a good way. Its not a hotel. these are individual "suites" that open up to the back deck, or to the front. The suites are quite large, which was very nice for my family. Huge bathroom, and a large comfortable foldout couch. Window fans are provided, which enabled us to enjoy the cool fresh air from Stonington! The back deck is huge, tons of room to relax and take in the harbor. We did not use it, but they have grills etc to use. One could...

« I was visiting Acadia for a handful of days; I stayed in Bar Harbor the first couple of nights, and decided to split costs by staying here, a short drive away just off the island, for the rest. It's definitely a small room/bathroom, especially compared to my first spacious place in Bar Harbor, and everything was older/cheaper/lower quality than my first place, but I also wasn't staying here for a spa treatment, and it's a fine, clean place to shower and sleep in the evenings while spending most...

« The inside apartment was clean new. The first look of the house was old in appearance. The heating was not good in the BR off the kitchen. Bigger BR was toasty. Overall I would return in a minute. Biggest issue was only finding decafe coffee in the cupbord. :( »

« This cute little studio stay is located at Bunker’s Restaurant. It was safe, quiet and comfortable. It was neat to watch the lobster boats come in the evening. Alicia checked in with us and was great. She is doing some improvements to the property and it looks like it will be even better. »

« I can see how this property would be nice for a family.We had a small room, and it was very small.Not what I had expected, but it was clean and neat.And I loved the downstairs area where they offered snacks.And things like s'more kits for the kids and coffee and water and everything. We had been traveling all day and it was great to grab the water and a granola bar on the way up. »

"La chambre a été faite seulement après la première nuit et pas la deuxième. Il a fallu courir après des serviettes propres le soir. 45 minutes d'attente après un appel à la réception donc je suis allé à la réception pour aller chercher les serviettes. Plutôt ordinaire pour ce genre d'hôtel à $750 cdn la nuit. Le reste était correct. Excellent emplacement au bord de l'océan."
