Best location, step out the front door and it’s like you’re in a medieval story and back in time. So much character and feel. Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend. Research the parking before arrival to save you walking too far. Hotel is in the ZTL Zone but worth it.

Fantastic property run by amazing people. Extremely convenient location next to some really good restaurants & very close to the bus stop / underground parking. Volterra and the Inn was beautiful

We arrived at Villa San Lucchese by way of our car rental. I was so relieved to have been able to leave the sea of people at the Florence train station, pick up our car rental and with GPS in hand, make our way to the beautiful hideaway located on the top of a hill overlooking the fields of vineyards and olive trees surrounding us. Loved this little hotel in San Gimignano!! Right in the historical town centre! An exciting drive into the village central to offload the luggage! bit off a hike from the public parking after though. Such a gorgeous view from our balcony overlooking the stunning Tuscan hillside!! Very very clean!! Very very comfortable!! Very very convenient!! The staff were very friendly, and very helpful!! Will highly recommend and stay again!!!

Great hotel and fantastic staff. Couldn't be better located in the middle of the main Piazza, but still very quiet in that respect - I had very noisy neighbours (whose kids played well into the night), but that's not the hotel's fault. My room had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Every staff member I met couldn't have been kinder.

Great selection of wines and knowledgeable staff. Daniella was amazing greeting us every morning with her great smile. Beautiful room with terrace felt spacious. Location great for day trips through tuscany

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was fantastic. Awesome breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Easy access to city center. The only “down” side was that the AC wasn’t very effective but we expected that with older accommodations and extreme August heat. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic property with really amazing views and location for exploring the property and surrounding area like San Gimignano and Siena, etc. Highly recommend having dinner there too! We didn’t use the pool but it looked really good, also with great views. Would stay there again.

Overall a great stay! A bit off the core sights we were seeing. We stayed Oct 2026. It was still warm during the day and cool at night though the AC was already turned to heat. Pool is not heated so likely amazing in summer but was a bit cold for us, Hottub and Sauna for rent. The food service was great, very tasting and welcoming staff. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel situated on beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and a lovely view. Outstanding breakfast included every morning. We also loved the location in the countryside just minutes from San Gimignano. Francesca and Luca were most hospitable! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel, in a spectacular location at the top of a hill. The rooms were amazing, the pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious and was served in a separate building on the grounds with amazing views. Has free parking, elevator. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere, we only had booked for one night. We walked down the hill to the town for dinner. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to all.

This hotel was more than I expected. It is a lovely, picturesque tuscan hotel that i would definitely return to! Although it was a bit windy, the pool area overlooks beautiful scenery. You can make this hotel as private as you would like or join in on the events going on such as free chianti wine tasting from 11 - 6 everyday!

Really nice, good food (dinner) friendly staff, georgeous view, place and sorroundings, wine tasting around. Clean and comfortable. The only minus is, not public transport around and we did not know, also the buffet breakfast not really interesting.
