Place was very clean and close to good food.

Beautiful place, wonderful pool and great breakfast.

Best location, step out the front door and it’s like you’re in a medieval story and back in time. So much character and feel. Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend. Research the parking before arrival to save you walking too far. Hotel is in the ZTL Zone but worth it.

A hidden gem in a central location. The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Clean, spacious rooms. Great food and drinks at the restaurant. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Fantastic property run by amazing people. Extremely convenient location next to some really good restaurants & very close to the bus stop / underground parking. Volterra and the Inn was beautiful

Been at this hotel at least 5 times, never disappointed me.

We arrived at Villa San Lucchese by way of our car rental. I was so relieved to have been able to leave the sea of people at the Florence train station, pick up our car rental and with GPS in hand, make our way to the beautiful hideaway located on the top of a hill overlooking the fields of vineyards and olive trees surrounding us. (Access to this wonderful Villa is indeed most simple if you have a vehicle on this part of your holiday.) We were pleased to have meet the owners at the...

Great selection of wines and knowledgeable staff. Daniella was amazing greeting us every morning with her great smile. Beautiful room with terrace felt spacious. Location great for day trips through tuscany

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel situated on beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and a lovely view. Outstanding breakfast included every morning. We also loved the location in the countryside just minutes from San Gimignano. Francesca and Luca were most hospitable! Highly recommend!

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was fantastic. Awesome breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Easy access to city center. The only “down” side was that the AC wasn’t very effective but we expected that with older accommodations and extreme August heat. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall a great stay! A bit off the core sights we were seeing. We stayed Oct 2026. It was still warm during the day and cool at night though the AC was already turned to heat. Pool is not heated so likely amazing in summer but was a bit cold for us, Hottub and Sauna for rent. The food service was great, very tasting and welcoming staff. Place was very clean and there’s only 10 rooms or 25 guests max which is great! During the week there was low occupancy and instead of buffet they served a...

Great place!! Unfortunately we got there the day the day after they had open. If there a day after they opened for the season and there are a few things we needed that were not sorted.

Really nice, good food (dinner) friendly staff, georgeous view, place and sorroundings, wine tasting around. Clean and comfortable. The only minus is, not public transport around and we did not know, also the buffet breakfast not really interesting.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a spectacular location at the top of a hill. The rooms were amazing, the pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious and was served in a separate building on the grounds with amazing views. Has free parking, elevator. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere, we only had booked for one night. We walked down the hill to the town for dinner. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to all.

Fantastic property with really amazing views and location for exploring the property and surrounding area like San Gimignano and Siena, etc. Highly recommend having dinner there too! We didn’t use the pool but it looked really good, also with great views. Would stay there again.

My wife and I recently stayed at La Mormoraia, near to the historic Tuscan village of San Gimignano. The property is part of the Agrotourismo initiative for the area. The facilities are very well kept with a friendly and helpful staff. This is a recently constructed property on the site of a former convent so all amenities are relatively new. Our room was spacious and offered everything we needed. There is an on-site restaurant that is excellent, offering a variety of Tuscan dishes. ...

This hotel was more than I expected. It is a lovely, picturesque tuscan hotel that i would definitely return to! Although it was a bit windy, the pool area overlooks beautiful scenery. You can make this hotel as private as you would like or join in on the events going on such as free chianti wine tasting from 11 - 6 everyday!
