Beautiful place, wonderful pool and great breakfast.

Been at this hotel at least 5 times, never disappointed me.

We arrived at Villa San Lucchese by way of our car rental. I was so relieved to have been able to leave the sea of people at the Florence train station, pick up our car rental and with GPS in hand, make our way to the beautiful hideaway located on the top of a hill overlooking the fields of vineyards and olive trees surrounding us. Best location, step out the front door and it’s like you’re in a medieval story and back in time. So much character and feel. Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend. Research the parking before arrival to save you walking too far. Hotel is in the ZTL Zone but worth it.

Place was very clean and close to good food.

Great hotel and fantastic staff. Couldn't be better located in the middle of the main Piazza, but still very quiet in that respect - I had very noisy neighbours (whose kids played well into the night), but that's not the hotel's fault. My room had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Every staff member I met couldn't have been kinder.

Loved this little hotel in San Gimignano!! Right in the historical town centre! An exciting drive into the village central to offload the luggage! bit off a hike from the public parking after though. Such a gorgeous view from our balcony overlooking the stunning Tuscan hillside!! Very very clean!! Very very comfortable!! Very very convenient!! The staff were very friendly, and very helpful!! Will highly recommend and stay again!!!

Overall a great stay! A bit off the core sights we were seeing. We stayed Oct 2026. It was still warm during the day and cool at night though the AC was already turned to heat. Pool is not heated so likely amazing in summer but was a bit cold for us, Hottub and Sauna for rent. The food service was great, very tasting and welcoming staff. My wife and I recently stayed at La Mormoraia, near to the historic Tuscan village of San Gimignano. The property is part of the Agrotourismo initiative for the area. The facilities are very well kept with a friendly and helpful staff. This is a recently constructed property on the site of a former convent so all amenities are relatively new. Nice room in a very convenient location!

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was fantastic. Awesome breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Easy access to city center. The only “down” side was that the AC wasn’t very effective but we expected that with older accommodations and extreme August heat. I would definitely stay there again.
