"We loved the location of this place and found it had everything we needed in excellent working order. We didn’t love the additional cost for linen and felt the doona’s were not clean. Overall it was terrific and would recommend it but bring your own linen."

"Bootmakers is cosy, warm and full of character - rustic, quirky, full of vintage curios and surprising discoveries. Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need, including ample breakfast provisions and pantry staples. Located in the centre of the lovely little township - with gastropub and shops a short walk away, and a short drive from the wonderful Brae restaurant. Would love to go back when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the large courtyard out the back...

Cars can be driven to rear of house and easily unloaded to upstairs kitchen and bedrooms. We understand its pet friendly but carpets were filthy and should be floorboards or tiles throughout (same as kitchen & dining areas) or carpets cleaned regularly.
