The house was very easy to find (well signposted) with safe, convenient access from the road. Max and Katie were our ideal hosts, always friendly, helpful, available, yet never intrusive (5 stars). The property was great and the chickens, sheep and goats were charming. We would definitely 100% recommend this experience to anyone looking to take a break but still have all the comforts of home. The fresh eggs left by Max were a lovely surprise. The highlight of our stay was the cozy fireplace that kept the lodge warm and inviting. The host was friendly and accommodating. Despite being a few accommodations on the block it felt very private. Our dog absolutely loved it.
