It was quiet and there was enough room for all the guests. We had a bit of trouble checking in due to the fact that we could not open the front door. The house is nestled in a lovely spot and the deck is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. There were, however a number of practicalities that let the experience down. There were no fans in the upstairs bedrooms, making for a stuffy night’s sleep. The roller blind was broken in the smaller upstairs bedroom, making it impossible to get any airflow through the window. There were no hooks in any of the bedrooms for hanging towels. There were not enough tea towels for the length of our stay. The external recycling bin was already overflowing when we arrived. ##### Maja G. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, comfortable seating inside and out the front deck and back patio. Three bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Close to all amenities and in a quiet street surrounded by native trees and heaps of different cheeky birds who demanded slices of apple; a magpie even sat on my knee as it warbled its song. Hosts were fantastic, seamless check-in and azingly good value considering the cost of other similar stayz. Communication was fantastic and check in/check out was a breeze. While the weather didn't always cooperate while we were there, the extra amenities and added touches made our stay feel like a home away from home. We had a young toddler and infant in tow so the toys/games selection and baby/child friendly items were a godsend.
