"Our family's stay at Blue Diamond Tranquility was wonderful! The house is beautiful and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a spectacular job. Big Mac and his wife are stellar hosts. We rented the party bus to transport our group of 8 adults and 8 children to and from the airport--it is truly a party bus! Totally worth it. The kids had a blast. We also booked the private chef for our dinners and enjoyed some delicious food! Big Mac and his crew serviced great breakfasts and lunches. Our excursions...

"Staff was very helpful from arranging transport for airport to advice (and a golf cart pickup) on local food options. They have their own boat to pick up on South Island. Condos and grounds are well kept. On site restaurant run by outside owner was a disappointment mainly due to lack of food options in low season (no pizza at this pizza place!). On the other hand the pool bar/resturant was very good value."

"Such an awesome place and incredible restaurant /bakery! I stayed at Itsana down the street for 8 days and swithed to Maya beach hotel. Maya beach is more low key. with a beautiful beach, the rooms aren't some crazy glam rooms but well kept and maintenanced which is why I like it. It's a beautiful family run business and it shows. The restaurant draws all the locals in so that's a good indicator... "

"I loved our stay at Coco Beach Resort—it was perfect for our family. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We visited in early November, the resort was wonderfully quiet and we had the pools to ourselves most days. The resort is very family-friendly, with lots of space and activities. The pools and hot tub were clean and spacious, and our kid especially loved the slide and rock jumping area. The outdoor spaces were lovely and relaxing. Our two-bedroom condo was large, comfortable, and spotless, with a kitchen stocked with all the essentials. Housekeeping came every other day, which kept everything feeling fresh. Coco Beach is about 15–20 minutes from San Pedro by golf cart, and you’ll definitely need a cart since nothing is within walking distance—we enjoyed exploring the island this way. We truly loved this resort. It’s one of our favourites for its comfort, fun, and tranquility. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxed stay on Ambergris Caye."
