"The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a little farther out of the "city centre" but taxis are easy and cheap. The rooms were very clean, excellent water pressure, pool was clean and the onsite meals were delicious and authentic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!"

"This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. We loved it!"

"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky.
