The house was set up so well. They really utilized the space well for groups. We were on the go a lot but loved the cute deck, game room, and open areas for being together. So many cool features. "The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is...

"We were in town for Xavier's Graduation - kids, parents, grandparents - lots of space to hang out. Parking was a challenge - the space behind the house is good for smaller cars but was a little too tight for my full size Yukon. The owner was great to talk with. They even sent over new baking dishes/bowls for us during our stay. Very accommodating."

"The inside of the house is updated, clean and has everything you need. It's in an older somewhat run down neighborhood that is park on the street only, meaning, no driveway."

"The house was roomy and in a convenient location for our stay. Close to the highway and easy access to the local towns. Only complaint was there were minimal towels available and 1/2 bath had paper towel dispenser instead of towel bar for a hand towel, which was not the best to dry my face after nighttime washing. The thermostat automatically changed back to 63 every night, so had to keep an eye on that as it was quite chilly when we were there."

"Let me just say this rental was way more than we could have expected. There were 9 in our party and we had plenty of room. The kids and young adults loved the downstairs and spent most of their time there. The two bathrooms were adequately stocked with towels and toiletries for us. The host reached out several times during our short two-day stay to make sure we had settled in and to make sure we didn't need anything!! The location was perfect not too far from anything. Quiet neighborhood!!!"

"Home was as described with 2 ample sized bedrooms and a sitting room/daybed space along with full bathroom on the upper floor, living, dining, kitchen and 2 piece bath on main floor. Great option for a family or a handful of adults. Note there are sets of steps leading from the street to the property. The home itself was very clean and fully equipped kitchen. We appreciated the coffee station! The area is an older area, called Price Hill. It is hilly. We walked the area to the BLOC coffee shop...

"Sweet house. Easy access to downtown and riverfront. The museum of Art and Eden Park practically at the back door. Mount Adams a great neighborhood. House was so comfortable and easy to negotiate. Wasn't pretentious but charming. We would definitely stay there again."
