We got a free upgrade to a suite. The room was great. The bathroom not so much. You have to enter the shower to turn it on. The lights were very dim making it hard to apply makeup. The water pressure was dismal. The overall stay was great. The hotel is going through renovations but still looked great.

Lobby is on the second floor. We drove an oversize Van and had to park a block away. The valet could not accommodate our vehicle. Rooms and breakfast were excellent .

Property condition I marked as a 4 only because the property was under renovations. The stay was perfect. Staff was amazing, breakfast was great with lots of selection. We used the public parking beside the hotel just due to heavy traffic out front of the hotel entrance but was extremely satisfied with keeping out vehicle there for the weekend… Great places to walk to in every direction around the hotel, very beautiful downtown core.. will definitely be back next trip to Cincinnati.

Yep, it's an old building - that's actually part of why I chose it! They're actively doing work on the lobby as of April 2026; the public spaces were all well maintained, and the space was very clean (I saw some comment from someone else about "worn carpet" - we only saw that on the stairs from the ground floor to the lobby, and I can say we never saw anyone else opt for those stairs since there are elevators first...). Breakfast was adequate - kept replenished (even on the day we arrived on the very tail end, we still had enough options, even if we didn't have *all* of the options) and tidy (hard to do for a buffet!). We opted to park in the public lot a storefront and a half north, and it ended up being $85ish for 3 nights. (Valets were always available when we came in and out, though, so the tradeoff for convenience was a deliberate choice. We just always opt for as much independence as possible.) And the staff were all amazing!

We always stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling, because we love the waffles at breakfast. The Hampton Inn billboard on our drive up even said “Waffles and wi-fi”. Small issue in the grander scheme of things, but we missed having waffles.

The gentleman on duty was great! The lady however, was rude and nasty. Happy hour was nice. The snack choices were good, with some healthy options. Thr breakfast was bad...the eggs tasted like plastic, they had no biscuits and the juice tasted like water. The coffee, however, was decent. No parking ..you could look for on street parking or use their valet.

The room was the highlight it was clean a spacious. The staff was ok. But the elevators to get to the rooms we’re not always clean the main lobby to get to the hotel lobby left a little bit to be desired. To be honest, the biggest drawback for me is when I booked the room. There was nothing that told me that I had to pay to park. And with it being in downtown, it was quite expensive.. oh and the breakfast was horrible. During my stay, the main hotel lobby was under construction, which didn’t cause a big issue, but there was no heads up about it until you got on property.

The breakfast buffet was pretty legit, staff was friendly enough, mostly everything was clean, etc. just some minor construction going on but nothing that affected my stay much.

The room was fine and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was sufficient, but maybe not add so many spices and peppers to the fried potatoes. Many people have problems with those. We enjoyed the non-lumpy oatmeal. Maybe offer more fruit options and not just apples. We had mixed experiences with the valets. The evening one was very helpful and friendly. The morning one, not so much. I had to actually ask him for help in holding the door while I struggled with my luggage. He just stood there. The picture of the entrance leads you to believe that this will be an elegant old time hotel, but nope, a bare entranceway and 2nd floor for check-in is under construction. Would not stay again because of the cost of parking.

We were in town for a concert. Was a nice stay within walking distance to almost everything. Breakfast was really good and hot options not the typical cold cereal and bagels. Room was clean loved how spacious the bathroom was so the two of us could navigate around to get ready without being in each other’s way. No microwave etc in room but plenty of places to walk to for great food and nightlife.

Clean room, lobby bar and fitness room excellent. The breakfast was just okay- no apple juice, pancakes, or waffles. There are very little gluten free options. Staff was attentive and friendly. The thermostat in room didnt work and one day the whole building was so hot couldnt breathe. My digital key worked for everything but the elevator.
