(1,001 reviews) My husband and I visited El Encanto All Inclusive at Hacienda Encantada for the 2nd time in December 2025\. We had the best time and definitely preferred 2 weeks over the way too short 1 week stay the 1st time around. The grounds are stunning and so well kept, and we really enjoyed walking all around exploring the hidden fountains and the church. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and we had the best sleeps because this Resort isn’t a party place, so noise wasn’t an issue during the night. And because we are Expedia Members, we were offered an ocean view room at no extra cost which made our trip that much more special. Our meals in all of the à la carte and pool restaurants were very good, but our favourite lunch spot was La Pergola. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had and my husband really enjoyed their fish tacos. Everyday we were welcomed with huge smiles and greetings from Margarita and Denis. When not dining at an à la carte, we had lovely meals overlooking the ocean at Il Forno. Angel and Noe treated us exceptionally well whether we were just stopping in for a night cap or sitting down for a delicious dinner. Barolo, the Italian restaurant, was exceptional. The host, Gabriel, was always accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed. Everyday we enjoyed the sun at El Patio. We always found the perfect spot on the sand, and bar none had the best service from Ingrid, Cesar, Omar, and Miguel. We hope to be back again in the near future! (180 reviews) My stay was ok. The rooms were nice but the balcony could use a little more maintenance. The hot tub on the balcony took a long time for the water to fill up and the sound was extremely loud. Check in was a bit challenging. I showed confirmation to the employee of the amount that I was to pay at the property which was $13.26 but instead I was charged $240MX ($13.84 USD). I really wasn't in the mood to address it due to the employee had charged my credit card then canceled after realizing the mistake she made. I gave her some grace but it doesn't take away that I was will overcharged by 58 cent. Next, I get to my room & didn't realize there were no wash clothes in the bathroom. So the next day, I asked one of the cleaning staff members for some wash clothes, however, that was challenging as well due to the language barrier. It was just alot going on but it worked out having to use my translator on my phone. As far as the drinks, those were really good but I have to pass on the food as it wasn't all that great to me. Also, when attempting to get a blue towel for me to go near the pool, the employee acted as if he didn't want to give me a towel due to the wrist band I had on which was for Alititude. I didn't have no issue the previous day getting a towel and I wasn't aware that I needed to go somewhere else to get a towel. I was very frustrated with that and still received the towel.The beach was nice, the entertainment was good and I liked the swings.
