The property was just as described! Comfortable beds, very quiet surroundings. Convenient to the interstate and West Asheville restaurants/shops. Living room area is small, but it was a perfect base camp for our girls weekend. Would definitely stay again.
Meredith's place worked very well for our Asheville-area vacation. Seating was limited to beds and barstools, but otherwise we were comfortable. The place was very well-kept and had tasteful decoration. Even with three sequential showers we had hot water! Accessing downtown Asheville, local restaurants, and a grocery store was easy with a rental car. Would definitely recommend to other active travelers!
The property was very neat and clean, but small for four people. Fortunately, we used the unit for just sleeping after exploring. No kitchen or dining table, so all meals must be eaten out. Good location for our Biltmore visit. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Read the listing carefully.... you are not staying in the home featured , but in an apartment below the home,
Property was exactly as stated. Beds comfortable and plenty of supplies. Mini fridge was great to store beer purchases. Uber available for transport. Door dash/uber eats with sufficient options. Sarah was great with communication.

Nice host but dust, stains, spiders, and grime
I want to start off by saying I appreciate how nice the host was she was very accommodating to our last minute travel changes and I do appreciate that. However, the cleanliness of this place is not up to par. I took many photos but I didn’t realize I couldn’t upload them for my review (first time VRBO user here). There is dust everywhere. Hanging from the fans and ceilings, covering the air intake grate, and pilled up on wall decor. The furniture is covered with particles of debris. There were stains on every single pillow we pulled out of a pillow case from makeup stains to drool stains. Not the mention that the pillows need to be replaced severely. The whole bedding was just so grimy, musty, and in a huge need of being updated and replaced we ended up going out and getting our own bedding to use which costed us well over $150 for a full bed set and pillows. The towels were no exception to the musty smell. The base boards were absolutely filthy and many places on the walls were splattered with some sort of staining. It really seems like there is just a HUGE lack of cleanliness and sanitation in this VRBO which was a huge let down as this place has a ton of potential. Twice while taking a shower I had to have my husband coming in and kill spiders that were crawling around and after inspecting even more there were multiple spiders hanging out in the corners of the ceiling. Luckily I have the best husband and he went around the whole place removing all the spiders (didn’t last long though as the second spider in the shower came the next morning). If you are a light sleeper like myself I also do not suggest this stay as the owners live above and on our first night I felt like they never went to bed as there was constant footsteps and banging above. I really was so disappointed in this stay and I truly hope that the owners can step up and take better care of their property and add in the elements of hospitality that are needed as it really does have great potential.
This wonderful location in West Asheville suited us perfectly. It has the relaxing feel of being out of the city, but a few turns and a couple of miles and you're right back in the thick of things! And Sarah is a wonderfully attentive host who replied instantly to our queries. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the fire pit, but sitting outside in that beautiful setting would be a great way to end the day!
What a gem. Great location. Seems brand new. Excellent communication with owners. Quiet neighborhood and very dog friendly. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
My wife, son and I went to Asheville to celebrate a friend's graduation and luckily chose this place to stay. At this time, cleanliness is very important to us and we were very happy with how clean the apartment was when we got there. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. The living area was small, but it was just the three of us and a medium sized dog, so it was comfortable enough. We spent most of our time in Asheville, so the small living area did not bother us. The proximity to Asheville was great.
This unit was a very short drive to downtown and West Asheville. They also allow dogs, which was a must for us. There were 2 adults and 1 small dog in our party. I slept in the kids room, and my only complaint is that you can hear every single step of both humans and dogs in the unit above. I’m a light sleeper, so this woke me up every morning. The unit itself has everything you need if you don’t plan on spending a ton of time inside. There was coffee, a mini fridge, a microwave and a toaster oven. It fit our needs perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.
The location was perfect the apartment was incredibly clean. Plus, and she accepts dogs! We had 3 pups with us to take hiking during our stay. This place was the perfect size for us and the dogs. She also has her TV hooked up to Netflix. Maybe I'm just easy to please, but that was great lol
Really cute and small Tiny Home. The place is located under the house -- she does specify this. But its really nice and simple for a short-term getaway to Asheville. The place is conveniently located, easily accessible to all tourist, local, and nature adventures. I highly recommend this place, Meredith was more than accomodating offering her help in case we needed anything or recommendations for local spots. We did manage to plan a weekend and although it rained and cancelled the Botanical Garden visit we still were able to explore downtown, taste good food, and even went to a brewery.
My friend and I had a great weekend at this location. The property was clean and comfortable, and it was perfect for the two of us for a quick trip to Asheville. It was within about a 10min drive of everything we wanted to downtown and to the Biltmore.
The apartment was what we needed and had comfortable beds. A nice private place recently remodeled! The kitchenette is only a microwave and k-cup coffee machine with paper plates and styrofoam cups, so be prepared to eat out every meal.
We picked this listing because of its location (close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway) and because it has two bedrooms. The place is cute inside and out. There is a fire pit (with wood) and picnic table just outside the apartment. The stairs to get down to the apartment are a bit steep so could be challenging for some. Quiet neighborhood.
This rental was just what we needed for our girl's getaway. It was just a few minutes from anything and everything we wanted to do. The owner was very attentive. We would definitely rent again.
My husband and son stayed at Meridith's. They loved the apartment - it was perfect for them. My husband enjoyed chatting with Meridith and his walks around the neighborhood.
Thank you!!!
We really enjoyed staying at Meridith’s place! It was prefect for 4 and allowed a great place for us to rest and relax. Any needs we had were taken care of quickly and easily. The location was convenient and beautiful. Thank you again, Meridith!
Beds were comfortable and lots of supplies were provided such as coffee pods and condiments, shampoo and bath items. The kitchen has a microwave and mini fridge.
