"The room was very clean and beautiful. It was a smaller resort but the staff where incredibly friendly and always smiling and saying good morning. The meals were from a set menu, but even as a picky eater I was always impressed and left full. The bartenders were personable and always willing to make new drinks. There is no direct beach access, but a quick boat ride from the dock or a 15 minute walk would get you to a very quite beach. We planned to eat at Breeze resteraunt and have a drink overlooking the ocean but found out after we walked there is was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Would definitely recommend this resort for relaxing and recharging. "

"The staff around the hotel was friendly and welcoming. My room was in a perfect location for a quiet and restful few days. The views around the resort were beautiful. Having the ability to go to Prickly Pear Beach from the shoreline was an added bonus. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the adult pool and beach. Overall, I came to Antigua to get away from the cold weather in New York and to relax, and The Hodges definitely helped me achieve both of those goals."
