If you have mobility problems they have no elevator you have to use stairs to get up to the rooms and in the suites we have to climb the stairs to the bedroom. The hotel and rooms have been appointed in keeping with the historic theme of the building so don’t expect 5\* luxury. However, the rooms are very spacious and on two levels. Breakfast overlooking the harbour was a great way to start the day. The staff were amazing, welcoming, helpful and genuinely happy to look after us, Michelle in particular stood out. Just a couple of negatives; the rooms were very dark and the partitions between the rooms were very thin, we could clearly hear conversations from adjacent rooms. Intimate surroundings. Breakfasts good. Could walk to several restaurants within 5-10 min. View of harbour and huge yachts from our window. Reception very accommodating and friendly. One suggestion for Hotel is there should be a warning near the taps not to drink the water. I was not aware until a maid told me locals do not drink it. Coffee was not replenished daily in our room for our coffee maker. Asked for body lotion and she left several tubes for me. Bed comfy.
