We were delayed on our flight and she had a warm meal awaiting our arrival. The property is clean and very well maintained and very quiet! Highly recommend! Tranquil oasis with a lovely pool, huge rooms and comfy beds, and delicious fresh fruit and coffee with a view every morning. Walkable to Dickenson Bay in about 7 minutes. We hired a car (would recommend) and was a great base to visit other parts of the island and near lots of good restaurants. Jackie was great and helped us with restaurant bookings and recommendations. It is aesthetically pleasing with its unique and meaningful bubblegum pink decor, carefully picked art pieces reflecting the owner’s passion, attention to detail, and love of culture, an enticing warm pool, and a patio with views of dickenson beach within reasonable walking distance. It is also surrounded by a few restaurants within driving distance. My room was spacious, clean, well ventilated and private. The cherry on top was discovering that this was a black woman owned property. The owner Jackie is a treasure. She was nurturing, resourceful, went above and beyond with bookings, recommendations, transportation, and ensured my safety during my stay. It was also a pleasure to hear her story and learn that she is and continues to be a selfless pillar of support to her community.
