"Clean room, comfy bed, nice property"

"This cabin is my favorite vacation rental ever! The reality is better than the pictures. There are just so many things to like about this place. Immaculately clean, a comfy bed, charming decor with antiques and woodsy accessories, awesome stone fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, tucked in a gorgeous forest next to a beautiful creek with picnic table, firepits, hammock and chairs. Check-in was super easy. Supplies were plentiful - there were even dog bowls, treats and a kennel for our dog-and Cara is a gracious, responsive host. It is clear that Cara takes pride in offering an experience that goes above and beyond the typical vacation rental experience. I would love to come back!"

"Cozy little spot in a warm and inviting little town. Looking for an intimate getaway while visiting La Veta. This is the spot for you. A cozy 1 bedroom with kitchenette. We will book this place again if available on our next visit to the La Veta and the Spanish Peaks area.Hosts are great and are easily reached if you have any questions or concerns."

"The best. Rooms are huge, balcony is amazing, stars are awesome at night, area is safe, home and backyard is immaculate. Truly a gem right here. If you get the chance to rent this place I’d say absolutely do it."
