"This property is close enough to civilization yet far enough away to unplug, unwind, and relax. The most outstanding feature of the property by far is the porch. Rain or Shine you will spend the majority of your time on the porch. During the day, you relax on the porch, reading, catching up on tv, or just listening to nature. "Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon."

"Wonderful little lake house located in a ver convenient location. 5 minutes to 2 boat ramps down river or just a quick 15 minute drive to waterfront. Less than 10 minutes to City Harbor. Clean, plenty of space, and located right in the water. We will be back!"

If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!"

"Pristine property and amenities. Neighborhood a bit rundown next door home particularly with cars in front yard. Otherwise, quiet and pleasant. Home provided with lots of extras. I contributed some skirt/pants hangers as there were none in closet."

"Everyone was very satisfied with the layout of the house we stayed in. We had two boats and the double carport worked out just fine keeping our boats out of the weather. Just a short drive to the lake and we had our boats on the water. We would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the Scottsboro area . If available next year we will be staying there again ! Two things would help new guests coming in would be a picture of the house and a phone number listed for the property manager ."
