"Great location, interesting neighborhood, and cozy"
We booked the top-floor suite because we were traveling as a group of four. Our room was spacious and contained beautiful sky lights. It was so nice to wake up to the sunrise over the skyline each morning. The bathroom was clean, large, and modern. On top of all of that, we had a full kitchen to make evening tea and to keep our local beers cold. Breakfast was delicious with yogurt, fruit, granola, bacon, sausage, eggs, and a pretty good selection of breads. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. It's about a two minute walk from the metro station. The closest metro station is only two stops away from the major tourist stops. The neighborhood itself is quiet but with TONS of restaurant options. Plus, the large park nearby has a really nice and laid-back beer garden. When and if I return to Prague, I will 100% book this hotel again. I have no complaints about anything related to my stay! Thank you to the hotel staff for making our trip to Prague delightful!

"Some improvement since my previous visit"
Everything in my room worked worked this time but the receptionist gave me incorrect information concerning the bus to the airport, she told me that it still went from Dejvicka. It doesn't now, as the "green" line has been extended and the bus number 119 now goes from metro station Nadrazi Veleslavin. The metro map she gave me actually shows the new arrangement and I had to point this out to her.

"Quite a nice room"
The fourth floor was quite good... This is how a Prague person would live. The room was spacious and had some elegant touches on the ceiling mouldings. A touch of old world class. The room was ready a bit late but they wee as accommodating as possible... sometimes you just have to roll with it. It also had a decent laundry room.

"Room to spare"
I have just got back from spending 4 nights in the Hotel Orion. I booked and paid for a studio, which to me implies all-in-one except for a bathroom. Instead I was incredibly surprised to find that I seemed to have been upgraded to a spacious one bedroom apartment (hall, bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet) with a double bed, as well as a sofa that could be turned into another bed if needed. Also, I was on the 5th floor so had a fantastic view out over the rooftops of the city. Only real negative was that I think there was only 1 English speaking TV channel.....but then who goes to Prague to watch TV? Breakfast is fairly basic continental style, a nice selection of breads, meats & cheeses, cereals, and usually hot sausage and boiled eggs.....nothing fancy, but a good way to start the day. Recommendation would be to get down to the breakfast room fairly early - first 3 days I was there about 8am and it was nearly empty but on my last day I was later (about 9am) and there was only one table available. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but, after checking out in the morning I was stood outside in the afternoon waiting for my airport transfer when one of them walked past and recognised me, not just ignoring me like some off duty hotel staff might do she stopped and asked asked if I was leaving, how I found my stay, etc. If/When I come back to Prague this will definitely be at the top of the list of places to stay.

Great place for a stay in Prague, good central location and spotlessly clean. Perfect for a short or longer stay.

Pocket Guide: Prague Vinohrady 3 stars Hotels

East of the New Town, Vinohrady’s many late 19th-century buildings in Art Nouveau style give the area great period character. One is the Vinohrady Theatre on Namesti Miru. On the same square stands the Neo-Gothic church of St Ludmila with twin octagonal spires.
