"The hotel staff are wonderful, the location is perfect. But I cannot ignore the fact that when we first walked in the bedroom we had mosquitos everywhere, i had to buy bug spray to kill them all. Lastly, im not sure if this happens in other hotels in Venice but the water pressure was horrible and it took a long time to heat up the water. "

"Hotels location was great, and having a breakfast included was very handy. However the breakfast options where very limited. The biggest negative was the mosquitos, that where already all over our room when we first entered. I left covered in bites which in the heat got very irritated. "

"We had a great 3 night stay at the Hotel Antico Doge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was gorgeous with a lovely diffuser which filled the room. "I like this hotel. The staff are friendly, and there is a good selection of food for breakfast. Can’t complain. The hotel is down a narrow street - like many hotels in Venice, so I was a bit wary at first but after I settled in I felt safe.
