The location of the hotel was in a very good location. However, the interior was in need of an overhaul, ie. loose fittings in the bathroom.

Old ageing hotel. Best is the location and staff are friendly.. Bed and pillows are lumpy. Walls are thin, you can hear noise from other rooms. We have a room with view. It is a very small window looking on the small canal. We did see a lot of gondolas going by. Breakfast is cold buffet with good variety.

I expected an old property I booked it for the experience but I was disappointed I wish the reviews were a bit more accurate. We booked a canal view deluxe room, deluxe it wasn't it was delapidated and dirty walls, nowhere to put anything no draws so the room looked untidy, the canal view was so high it was not possible to see the canal, the bathroom shower tiny. The breakfast was good the room is pleasant, the front desk staff change continually but we're all very nice and helpful the check in area is quaint and it is down an alleyway so difficult to find. The walk to the vapereto is close and you are very close to the Rialto bridge and ten mins walk to st Marks square which is beautiful, Venice is truly wonderful I loved it but chose your accommodation to suit you, I like a good place to stay and this would not be my choice, I wish the reviews had been more accurate and I would not have chosen this hotel, but if your not to fussed it's well situated.

The hotel was fine for what we needed (Basically just a bed after exploring all day). However, the bathroom was absolutely terrible. You come to expect smaller rooms in Europe, which is fine, but this room’s bathroom was disgusting. The shower head had a layer of black mold, and it looked like it hadn’t been changed in 30 years. Everything else was about what you would expect at this price point, but a $20 shower head would really go a long way here.

This place was excellent if you like to see and hear the gondolas. In the morning we got to see how the goods are transported to the boats. It was a very convenient place. Tucked away hard to find but once there it was very quaint and lovely. The breakfast was great too.

This quirky property oozes character, centrally located in easy walking distance from the main sights. The fabric wall covering adds to the atmosphere. A great breakfast set us up for the day. We would stay here again!

The staff and location are the real stars of this property. The staff worked hard to make our stay great, the front desk with helpful with great recommendations for restaurants that were great, booking a boat to pick us up in the canal right around the corner to take you to the airport or an island. The staff in the breakfast room greeted us with "Would you like a cappucino?" and the food was very good, especially the warm crossiants:). The location is very central yet quiet at night. Great stay.

Very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Could use more shelves in the bathroom. No dresser for clothes or stand for suitcases. Should have presented an option at booking advising which floor room is on to aid people with mobility issues as no elevator present. Staff was extremely helpful.

A very charming boutique hotel within walking distance of everything. The rooms are small but accommodated us well. The staff was very friendly, helpful and had great communication skills. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and yummy. The only con that I have to mention is there is not an elevator so be prepared to lug your luggage up the steps. We would definitely stay here again.
