Excellent option to stay in Venice. Conveniently located near the train station is perfect to walk as little as possible with your luggage. Also a great breakfast as many options are available for everyone

The room was nothing special, but there was a nice central courtyard and breakfast, and very convenient location to main Railway Station, Bus Depot and Grand Canal

This hotel looks nothing like the photos on the website. The photos are at least 20 years old. Rooms, furniture, facilities are all very dated and very shabby. The air conditioning is non existent . At best it works like a fan. The rooms were very hot and impossible to sleep in summer heat. The rooms smell of damp. I would not recommend this place. It is not a 3 star hotel.

The property is super convenient when traveling to the train station. The amenities are minimal. Quiet rooms. But the bathrooms have no shower only a bathtub with a hand held wand. Also (this is not unique to just this property as we noticed it in all 13 hotels we stayed at) there is no bathroom venting fan to help with the moisture so there is mold in the grout’s and corners The hotel was like stepping back in time. Otherwise clean and everything we needed

This was a great choice for us; very close to the train station and close enough to the bus depot for heading to the airport . The staff were extremely friendly. The room and washroom were extremely clean. Breakfast was also more than what I expected . I felt bad seeing other tourists pull their luggage on the other side of Venice. I was very grateful to have made this hotel choice and would definitely stay here again .

The hotel looks nice and the rooms are nice as well, however the AC does not work so rooms are always hot. Also certain rooms are not accessible via elevators so you would have to take stairs with luggage.

The staff was very helpful, rooms were clean with updated bathrooms. The room itself was a little small and the hotel is situated at the end of an alleyway along with some others but was very quaint and would definitely stay there again

The free breakfast was good. There were plenty of dessert breakfasts, eggs, cereal, toast, etc. good assortment. It was awful getting to this property. Arriving at the train station it seemed like it was a block and a half away. It was much further and first you had to cross the bridge of stairs with your luggage. It would have been nice if they offered instructions for how to get to the hotel and get help with luggage. It was quite a chore.

I may have hit it at the wrong time but I truly don’t understand all the good reviews. It was close to the train station. That was the one redeeming quality. Otherwise, it was oversold as a 3 star hotel. A/C didn’t work, bathroom and room were dark and very small which would be ok if it had charm. Could have been cool given that it was a monastery at one point, but it wasn’t. Definitely not worth 300 euro a night.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and area is convenient to public transportation, including to Italian mainland. Hotel is about as far as possible (and still be in Venice) from San Marco and is in a very old building.

This is a beautiful old hotel that is well kept and fairly quiet. It is right next to a church so the church bells do ring early in the morning. It is easy to find and has several restaurants and shops ( and gelato of course!!) nearby. The breakfast was good that came with the room and it has an elevator which is a plus in Venice. Room was safe and comfortable, but no stand up shower- only a tub with a shower attachment from the spigot.
