"My wife and I were lucky to book this place on the weekend of three Taylor Swift concerts. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were steps away from several restaurants and cafes and a view of Edinburgh Castle was literally right around the corner. It was clean and incredibly quiet for being right on Princes St. Apart from a broken lift and having to lug three suitcases up 4 flights of stairs, we loved it and would likely stay again. "

"Overall our stay was good with an exceptional breakfast spread starting at 4 a.m. The main issue we had was a lack of a luggage cart requiring multiple trips carrying our luggage to the third floor when we checked in. The airport is a six minute walk from the hotel and I walked over to borrow a luggage cart to move our luggage to the airport for our flight next morning. The sidewalk is very rough in sections; pushing a luggage cart is difficult and it is hard to keep the luggage from falling off...
