"We tried to call in advance on the phone indicated in the reservation confirmation but it did not answer. Nobody was waiting for us when we arrived. With the help of the locals we found an owner who was very surprised that we had reservation even though it was made almost three months before. Finaly we got a room. The hotel has obviously seen better days and is shabby, not to say abandoned, even though it is located in the very center. Looks like it is not used as a hotel but mostly rented out...

"I had a really nice stay here. The owners/staff were very friendly. The apartments are simple, but well equipped for self catering, albeit a little aged. Pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds and additional seating in a shaded area. Location was ideal for walking into Tigaki and for travel to other locations on the island. "I absolutely loved my stay at Aphrodite Studios with hosts Danielle and Herre, as well as their beautiful daughter Flo. I was welcomed as if part of the family and felt very much at home. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The space is perfectly located, just outside of Masouri with views of Telendos. "Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized pool. Good location 5 to 10 minute walk to main bars, restaurants and harbour/old town. Close to beach 5 minutes walk. Good size rooms with two balconies one overlooking pool but no sea view. Cleaned everyday. Only negative was air con not working in lounge area bit hit and miss in bedroom was reported but as end of season not fixed whilst there but didn't detract from overall pleasant stay and would return."
