"Nice hotel in prime location"
This is a really good boutique hotel in the best area of Santiago to stay in. You will be a short walk from Barrio Lastarria and fun restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Our room view overlooked the park, and it was lovely. The best part is the included breakfast - the food is great, process to order is very good, and the servers very nice. The breakfast alone will save you quite a bit of trouble and money each day! The hotel staff was very kind for the most part - there was a mixup about our minibar but they resolved it. They were extra helpful on check-out with watching our bags and helping get us a car arranged for a MUCH better rate than we would have been able to get off the street on our own. Only complaints were the heater in the room wasn't working (didn't matter much, we were still comfortable) and the water in the shower did not get hot to my standards. Overall highly recommend.

"Value for money in great area of Santiago. "
Within easy walking distance of the funicular to San Cristobal hill and La Chascona Casa Museo Santiago, the home the famous poet Pablo Neruda built for his mistress Mathilde, this hotel is definitely worth considering as your Santiago base. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bathroom was well appointed, with a fantastic hot, powerful shower, a must on my room list. The lack of elevator was not a problem for me. There are many good restaurants in the same street, and the next street. In fact the area is well known for its nightlife. There were some minor irritations which were probably more noticeable at the end of four weeks in South America. The first one was the need to buy bottled water, there being only 500mls provided in the room. But there were shops nearby. The second was the disinterested breakfast service. The breakfast was included in the room rate, but the restaurant is perhaps a separate operation. There was no menu and after my initial order of fruit, coffee and scrambled eggs (5/10) I had to seek out the attention of the waitress for items such as salt and pepper. I was also served only about 150mls of water. Luckily I knew a nearby cafe where I could get a real desayuno, cafe Aldea Paraiso in Constitution St.

"Good location."
Nice, helpful staff. Massage room was way to small for the service to be provided. Location was excellent for me to get to historic and tourist sites with one exception.

"Lovely boutique hotel"
The Aubrey is a lovely boutique hotel. The location is excellent and despite being very central and close to great restaurants, bars, sights etc., it's very quiet. The staff are exceptional and provide personalized service. It has only 15 rooms, yet lots of beautiful indoor/outdoor common areas. Hotel staff are very good at arranging reservations in town and even arranged a private tour to Concha Y Torro winery, which is worth a visit.

It's a vey new hotel, with a great staff (bilingual also). Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel views are amazing (city/mountain views are just gorgeous).
