Excellent experience overall.I had taken my Mother for an escape from the Michigan winter and should have been more specific. The first room was too many steps to get to and the room situation hard for my Mom. Once we clarified needs it was smooth sailing.

"Amazing suite, excellent location."
We stayed for three nights. The hotel is in a great spot- close to French Quarter, shops, transport etc. We booked a suite and were really surprised at the size of the room- huge living space and kitchenette.

"NOLA 2015 was Awesome!!"
This was our second stay at Hotel Mazarin. Everything was absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel and grounds are beautifully kept and our room was perfect. We especially like the courtyard for breakfast and happy hour; it is very relaxing. We are so spoiled by this hotel and will return here for every visit to New Orleans.

"Beautiful hotel."
The hotel was lovely, beds were pretty comfortable. Some temperature problems in the shower. Location was pretty good. Far enough out of the French quarter to breath but close enough to get there easily. Food was pretty outrageously priced but didn't eat there much. Most of the staff was polite but not really friendly. I had a mistake on my bill that was just a misunderstanding and it was handled immediately and without question. The lady on the phone was very nice and efficient. We felt compelled to park elsewhere as parking was very high but the one night we used valet was excellent service. The only complaint I had was the concierge on duty the 1st night we were there. She was extremely rude and condescending, not helpful at all and acted like she was too good for her job. We didn't use this service at all after dealing with her. Albert, who took our bags to our room was very good and helpful.

"Wonderful hotel in the French Quarter"
This hotel almost gives you the feel of 'staying with a local', rather than a hotel. Quiet, unassuming, pleasant and beautiful.

"Top floor balcony, top quality."
The hotel has taken the time and the attention to detail to keep the New Orleans feel. The hotel rooms are very well kept and show the original architecture in the rooms. Fresh Croissants in the morning are good. Hotel staff is very prompt and responsive (e.g., I asked about breakfast and a tray was brought within 10mins) the check-in hostess, specifically. Ariel Oliver, was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. That being said all staff I interacted with was courteous and friendly. Great location close to the quarter, however, not too close.

"Great location, close to Canal street"
We booked our stay day of, ( due to a horrible experience at the W on Chartres St). When I booked I got a great Mobile discount, and upon checking in we were upgraded to a massive king room with a private terrace. Love the look and feel of the industrial loft style accommodations (sky high ceilings, minimalist decor, clean sharp lines). You know your room is big when you have to take up a running start to quickly answer the door when the maid knocks. Rooms were cleaned super timely, the Hotel is quiet, clean, and worth a repeat visit. Only cons are: the hotel could use better signage. The name and number are outside, but kind of hidden and written in an obscure way, but we found it fine after doubling back once. The other is that the dual shower heads are kind of strange. . .wasn't sure where to stand, I alternated between feeling cold, to feeling on the verge of drowning. My husband and I are pretty tall, I can't imagine how a shorter person would manage without risking water torture. . .these things are negligible and would not deter me from visiting again.
