"Very cute hotel. Simple and unique. "
I liked this hotel. Staff was polite and friendly. Kept rooms and hotel clean. No alarm clocks in rooms but I used my cell anyways. Perfect distance from Bourbon St so you can have fun but sleep peacefully. Complimentary hot breakfast daily at 8am... Would stay here again!!

"Great staff and Gorgeous Room"
The staff was top notch and extremely friendly. Our room was clean and the designer did a great job. Everything is great about this place from staff, to location, to the sun decks and balconies. But this is a modified time share resort as individual rooms are "owned". In turn there is no maid service and other amenities. This was not shared by Expedia and created certain challenges. They charge $39 plus tax for parking and there is a place 5 blocks away on Common Street that charges $20 a day.

"Best stay in New Orleans"
My wife and I visit New Orleans approximately six to seven times a year. We always stay at different hotels in the French Quarter and this was by far the best stay for us. The hotel staff was amazing they greeted us every time we walk threw the front door. It was a great all around hotel. We will be staying at this hotel from now on every trip to New Orleans.

"Can't wait to go back!"
This charming boutique hotel is located between the CBD and the French Quarter, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to either. Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and our room was comfortable and clean. This is a true traveler's hotel; there is no restaurant or room service (why would you eat in your hotel in NOLA anyways?!) and in my opinion it's simply the perfect place to sleep and shower in, then leave to go exploring around this vibrant city. Their cozy bar, Loa, is picturesque and fully stocked and according to the hotel guide they can even arrange for offsite spa services for guests if that's what you're into. 4 p.m. check-in (although we were able to check in around 1) and 12 p.m. check-out, super convenient. Absolutely loved this place!

"Le Pavilion was a wonderful place to stay. "
We were in NOLA for a conference that was at the Hyatt but we wanted to stay off site and stumbled upon this gem. The staff was very curtious and helpful. It was a couple of streets from Canal and some fun things to do there while still being quite and comfortable. The Peanut Butter and Jelly bar at night was a fun addition and a cute idea. The room was very well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and clean as well. The age of the hotel was older so the crown molding in the rooms and the more antique feel was perfect without looking old, everything was well maintained. The roof top pool was very relaxing and it was cool to be pool side and know that right below you was the city. Room service was very nice and gracious and the food was great.

"Luxurious hotel in the heart of the French Quarter"
Hotel Mazarin is a quiet, private oasis just steps from Bourbon Street. It is situated in the heart of the French Quarter, but as soon as you step inside, you forget about the hustle and bustle outside. There is a gorgeous open-air courtyard where a delicious complimentary breakfast is served daily, in addition to several smaller outdoor areas adjacent to the guest suites. It was an above average hotel, very reasonably priced, and its quality exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to go back!

"Beautiful, clean, and quiet hotel well located!"
Two of us stayed at this hotel for 5 nights at the end of June. Our stay here was fantastic! It is an older building but has been renovated beautifully, while maintaining it's original character. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. The end room we got was spacious and clean, with high ceilings and large windows. It was quiet in our room, except when the streetcar went by, which we could hear (not a big deal at all). The hotel is located in the central business district, which is a little away from the action of the French Quarter. This meant it was a lot quieter. The walk to Canal street and the French Quarter was about ten minutes. You can also walk to the WWII museum in about ten minutes. You can also catch the streetcar right outside the hotel (going towards the Garden District - although the street car line is under construction so you can only go about 4 stops in that direction). There were quite a few restaurants near by. Most of the breakfast places were not open on weekends, as this was the business district. Having said that, with Canal street not too far away, it wasn't hard to find food! Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and would recommend it!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location. Easily walked everywhere without a problem. Safe area. However if you're looking for a quiet stay, look for a hotel outside this area.
