"Historic gem in the French Quarter"
Loved Hotel St. Pierre and will definitely be back! We got a room in the oldest part of the hotel, dating back to the 18th century. Room was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and extremely comfortable beds. The hotel staff was extraordinary, talk about southern hospitality! Looooved it! Perfect location.

"I felt very much at home here!"
This hotel is in the middle of everything, the French Quarter's Bourbon Street area, the French Market, the French Market Business District. The valet parking area had a lot of stray cars, but they were out after a circle around the block. The room was spacious, clean, and inviting. I felt like I could have stayed here a long while and been quite content. The staff was very helpful, and the tone was much more relaxed than the usual French Quarter hotel.

"Perfect hotel near the french quarter"
The staff was amazing! Also, the location was key. We never really had to take the cab anywhere. Lots of restaurants and bars around to have a good time.

"Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful."
This was our secound stay at the hotel, you couldn't ask for a better staff. The hotel itself was old world style, it reminds you of an era from the past (southern charm).

"Just relaxing and perfect"
The hotel is very clean, and all of the staff were very welcoming! We even went to the restaurant and the food/drinks were so wonderful! There dinner is perfect and their brunch is beyond words amazing! The front desk was very helpful because we arrived early they went ahead and arranged to have our bags held onto and the vallet was very diligent! I will be going back soon!

"Beautiful boutique hotel with great staff."
We arrived on Easter Sunday and was greeted with smiles and helpful tips.We stored our bags since check in was at 4pm and not 3pm as written. Tiara who checked up in couldn't have been more pleasant and even upgraded us to a beautiful room with a balcony facing Decateur St. Of course, the room also faced the fire department, but fortunately no sirens were heard. ALL the staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Just don't order any room service because the menu in the room does not match what is actually offered, and it is extremely expensive and not worth is.

"Perfect!"
I booked this hotel based on Expedia review (last minute). We went to NOLA for the French Quarter Fest, but I didn't want to pay $250 for a hotel. St. James reviews regarding staff friendliness and location were the best, so I booked it! The room was quaint, clean, and I loved that there was no carpet! The front desk staff was amazing; so much so that as we were headed out to find the music, they provided us with a map and wrote all of the various stage locations to make it easy on us. I loved that they delivered croissant's and fresh coffee to our room in the morning. It felt like we were on a cruise leaving our order on the door before bed! Another awesome thing was that when we checked in, I was asked, "do you want the quiet side or the noisy side?" Loved this! No one (my age) wants to come back to go to bed with a bunch of drunk noisy people keeping you up (don't get me wrong, I love to party, but when it's time to sleep, it's time to sleep). We will definitely stay there again in the future!!!

"Great location, close to Canal street"
We booked our stay day of, ( due to a horrible experience at the W on Chartres St). When I booked I got a great Mobile discount, and upon checking in we were upgraded to a massive king room with a private terrace. Love the look and feel of the industrial loft style accommodations (sky high ceilings, minimalist decor, clean sharp lines). You know your room is big when you have to take up a running start to quickly answer the door when the maid knocks. Rooms were cleaned super timely, the Hotel is quiet, clean, and worth a repeat visit. Only cons are: the hotel could use better signage. The name and number are outside, but kind of hidden and written in an obscure way, but we found it fine after doubling back once. The other is that the dual shower heads are kind of strange. . .wasn't sure where to stand, I alternated between feeling cold, to feeling on the verge of drowning. My husband and I are pretty tall, I can't imagine how a shorter person would manage without risking water torture. . .these things are negligible and would not deter me from visiting again.
