“WHO DAT!”
Gracie at the front desk is the best! Great place to stay to catch a game at the Superdome.
“A+ service”
Great Staff, Great Room, Great Location! New Orleans parking is costly, this hotel has two of the best parking spots adjacent to it. Park and walk.
“Real Southern Comfort”
This hotel was great. The location is great because it's a couple a blocks from the main attractions of downtown New Orleans. It is also good because it's not in a noisy area. The staff is also pleasant and helpful.
“Location”
The Hotel is in a great location a few blocks from everything.
“NOLA for Mardi Gras!”
I had a wonderful time. They forgot my "wake up call" once, which would have been a disaster if I had not scheduled room service for breakfast! I also had to complain about they Gift Shop girl, but she apparently was not a part of the Hotel. Overall, it was perfect! The Hotel is situated in the best part of town - close to everything!! I LOVED NOLA! I am going to go back in April, and request the same room. It had a wonderful balcony. The parades were right in front of the Hotel, and so were the News Teams!
“Good Location. Nice Hotel”
I thought the hotel was excelllent. My only complaint was that everyone on the floor received a newspaper but me for the first three days of our trip. The second time I complained about this I was told that I had to be an intercontinenal club member. I signed up and got the paper. I resented having to jump truough this hoop. Sensing, my annoyance, we received both the New Orleans Picayune and the New York Times for the rest of the trip.
“Great stay.”
This hotel always exceeds all of our expectations.
“Great Location”
Great location, excellent service. Just a short walk to the French Quarter. The staff was friendly and helpful.
“If You Drive Park Next Door”
The hotel was fantastic. Although this review may say sound negative, the cleanliness and friendliness of all the people was wonderful. They answered questions, provided directions and were very helpful. The part that I didn't like was that there was a parking lot right next door for $10 a night less. I think they should have offered comparable prices. I also didn't like that a four star hotel charges you to use the internet. People were sitting in the lobby using their internet because the hotel nickel and dimes you over a service that most travelers expect and need. I found it annoying to sit in the lobby area with 4 or 5 other travelers all on our lap tops. The vending machines were VERY expensive so visit another location and bring back your snacks.
“One of the best hotels in the city”
The Intercontinental is a gorgeous hotel, expensive but well worth it. The amenities are terrific, and the service is fantastic -- I needed to change my room from a king to a twin upon arriving, and they made the accommodation right away with no trouble. Highly recommended to any kind of traveler.
