“Loved it!”
A beautiful hotel with luxurious suites. We have already recommended this hotel to many of our friends due to the quality of service and ammenities. The location is less than a 5 minute walk to the French quarter, without the noise of Bourbon Street yet close to everything you want to see and do including shopping. Absolutely loved the Roosevelt. We can't wait to go back!
“Beautiful place”
The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It makes me proud to be from the area to see a structure so magnificent. With that said, DON'T remove anything from the minibar! All content is electronically controlled, so if you remove a bottle of water a ridiculously high price will be charged to the room. But that wasn't an issue, there is a CVS conveniently located in walking distance.
“Very impressive renovation”
Just fresh from its refurbishment, the Roosevelt is fresh and comfortable. There is a variety of dining options available, and there is a cafe in the foyer that serves coffee, sandwiches and pastries all day. The staff were courteous and efficient. Room service was good too. The hotel is convenient placed just next to the French quarter, but benefits by being just away from the bustle and noise of Bourbon Street!
“Met all modern expectations in a great Landmark Hotel”
The refurbished Roosevelt is a great blend of modern conveniences within a landmark hotel. You can almost picture Louis Armstrong serving up some Jazz in the Blue Room. The restaurants offered very good food and service. The staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive. Great hotel in a great location.
“New orleans”
Great hotel, great vacation.
“Amazing hotel!”
great hotel
“Great Hotel”
This hotel is excellent. wish I could afford to go here all the time. This is a very great hotel.
“I loved New Orleans thanks to this hotel!”
This was my second time in New Orleans. I had a very bad experience overall in my first visit, and I was very concerned with this second business visit, which turned out to be excellent. The Roosevelt helped make it a superb experience. The room was extremely clean, even tough they were late to clean the room one day. The breakfast buffet was marvelous, and I recommend it. Also the hotel is half a block away from Canal street.
“Wonderful accomodations and service!”
The Roosevelt Hotel just reopened after Hurricane Katrina in July, 2009 and is eager to prove its level of service. The hotel's dining is fabulous (but not cheap), the rooms are well-appointed, with extremely comfortable bedding, and the service is top notch.
“Lovely historical hotel”
Great place to stay on Canal Street, across from the French Quarter. The hotel has a long history in New Orleans. It has been refurbished and is quite lovely. I just wished I had more control over the temp in my room.
