"Building is pretty well worn. Water in bath tub would not shut off so we had to deal with that sound ALL NIGHT. Not very restful."

"Well the room certainly looked better in the dark the night before. it was just dated. clean enough for the price, no bugs - no hair on my sheets. I felt safe enough. it was just showing its age. Certainly was equal to what i expected for the price."

"We went to the hotel early to see if we could get our room key since we would be at the race track until after 10. They were waiting for us and checked us in with no problem. Room was older but clean and comfortable. "

"I was unaware of the $100 deposit nd was unable to get the room..the only way to avoid the deposit is paying the full price upfront in cash and the lady at the desk was very rude about everything and constantly kept asking if I had a dog as if that was the only thing she was concerned about. RUDE RUDE and RUDE!!!"

"Checking in was easy, the room had a few dead spiders in it. Everything else was ok but my bedsheets had a stain on them so I slept on top of the covers. "

"The hosts were so kind and accommodating when we needed to come to the area to manage my mother's estate. The adorable bungalow was comfortable and well stocked and we were so grateful to them for going the extra mile to get the fold out bed ready for our daughter when they new we were going to have a very late night check in. We extend our thanks for their compassion and flexibility to accommodate us so last minute. We will gladly return to their home when duty calls again."

"The thing that impressed us most about the cabin was how well the kitchen was appointed and the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, herbs, spices and much more. The eggs, milk, bagels and Philly cheese provided for our breakfast was particularly appreciated. Everything else about the cabin was well up to standard. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. Thank you, Michelle."
