"Awesome views"
Loved this place I felt like royalty. My only complaint is that the day i got there i showed them my reservations that said all inclusive with free wifi and they said yes sir. So all week long i had it in my room till the 2nd to last day i was there so I went to the lobby and told them i lost my Wifi and the man said i had to pay for it so i explained to him that i have had it free all week long till today and he said no sir, I told him yes i have i think i would know if I didn't because i have been keeping in touch with my family all week. He said no sir again and by this time I'm getting aggravated. He said its $15 a day so i said fine I'll pay it for today. So u have do click on park Royal premium under wifi settings and put in credit card so i did and absolutely nothing. So for the last 2 days i had to go all the way down to lobby where it is free and contact family. Now days wifi is almost anesity for some and I traveled alone so I really needed it. You would think a multimillion dollar resort would offer free wifi. That may keep me from going there again if i go by myself. Which sucks because everything else is just top notch

"Beautiful Location, Great Staff"
Check-in went fairly smooth, however the room they gave us to begin with was not cleaned and ready and we had to go back to the lobby. Once we had another room, it was very clean and comfortable. We had a Swim out junior suite and these are located on the jungle side, with a good walk to the beach. That really is not a negative as we found it nice and quiet and since this is not a huge resort, the walk was beautiful with lots to see: pools, gift shop, coffee cafe and lots of greenery. Meals were good, service was excellent. Fellow lodgers were friendly and fun. Overall, the experience was wonderful. If you are looking for a "party" place, this is not the resort. We found it to be a nice peaceful retreat, with several fun evening events: Mayan Dancers, Fire Dancers, Beach Party and a great Super Bowl Party that they went above and beyond with! The boat rentals were good and the ones that are located away from the lobby were less expensive and the service was good. We took the glass bottom boat/snorkeling excursion out as well as rented a boat for deep sea fishing and snorkeling. Our friends did some diving and said it was fantastic. Snorkeling just off the beach was good and you can utilize their equipment free for 2 hours.

"Great All Inclusive! We will be back"
We loved our stay here. Had previously been to the Allegro Cozumel - the lower end hotel by Occidental and enjoyed it there. The Grand was definitely a step up in every way and worth the added price. We actually made more of the all inclusive because it was so enjoyable at the hotel grounds, we hardly ever left! Previously at the Allegro, we did day trips as the beach area was not quite as nice and the lunch was not as good. This time we left the rental car parked minus one day trip to Punta Sur for snorkeling and beach (best beach on the island). Food - very good for an all inclusive. Buffet always had good stuff, lunch buffet in a great spot next to the beach and open until 4:30 - so you could do a day excursion and still grab a late lunch. 2 a la carte restaurants were good and fairly easy to get reservations at (at the Allegro it was hard to get reservations and they were just ok) Amenities - pool/beach area really nice. Snorkeling right from the beach too! (no reef but some rocks out further in the swim area with lobster, angelfish, etc). Buffet pavilion on the waterfront really nice. Dive center onsite. Also - tourism area with 3-4 tourist representatives who could book you anything you want to do. Expedia rep also onsite (nice perk). "Quiet" pool set up with a movie screen at night -really enjoyable atmosphere. Evening shows were pretty good. Beach - Sand & blue water, nice thatched "umbrellas" for sun or shade, and waiter service. Pottery painting too

"Great stay! Relaxing trip"
My friend and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in the middle of this brutal winter and coral princess was our winner! I researched all travel sites and found that each and every site was on point. I was not disappointed at all when I arrived. Staff was very friendly! Room was clean! The free breakfast was good but limited to eggs and pancakes and the pool was great! One thing to keep in mind. They only have free wifi in the lobby and pool deck. Not the rooms so beware!

"Cozumel fun!"
Met up with friends at Fiesta Americana Cozumel recently - had a fabulous time with LOTS of good food and fun! Guys snorkeled daily while the ladies enjoyed beach time and beach service ;) the wait staff was INCREDIBLE! Rented a jeep for a day and explored the island. Relaxed every day and never had anything negative to report. However - as mentioned by others, the higher floors have better views. Compliments to Aaron, Miguel, Victor and Hugo.....and all the rest (can't remember everyone's names)...thanks! You made our trip delightful! See ya next time ;)

"Excited to stay again in 2016!"
Went for a week at the beginning of January, peak tourist season apparently. Beautiful location, hotel and excellent staff. Got a deluxe room at it was huge and the wrap around balcony was gorgeous. We spent a lot of time on our balcony! The food was very good, fresh fruit was always at perfect ripeness and very delicious. Wide variety of foods to make even the pickiest eater happy. Lots to do, getting a taxi was easy because there was always a staff member outside to flag one down for us and to help us find our destinations.

"Clean, private resort with large pool and beach!"
This is 3rd year returning to Hotel Cozumel; private hotel with many amenities if you so choose. Also can be your own private retreat. Extra clean, friendly staff, nice balconies to enjoy sun and quiet time. Large pool area for all ages plus kiddie pool and hot tub. Babysitting provided on site for extra charge. Husband and I return for 2 weeks in winter to be guaranteed almost 80 degree weather, plenty of sunshine and relaxation. Shopped in local grocery stores, have eaten in town with the locals, many restaurants on the same main street as Hotel Cozumel in either direction. Good long walks at sunset time; which are magnificent to see! Area caters to scuba divers, but Hotel Cozumel has own private beach and beautiful area to swim in. Many excursions to choose from, but can be pricey. Will continue to visit Cozumel until run out of things to do and see!
