"Luxury without pretentious-ness"
The best hotel we've stayed in for a long while. A luxury experience without the feeling of pretentious-ness that can quite often accompany it. We were made to feel welcome and important. Our room was spacious and well appointed, we felt we could quite easily holiday not just spend a night. Sadly time didn't allow us to experience dinner or the spa but overheard comments suggested we wouldn't have been disappointed there either. I'm certain we will return to the hotel when we nect have reason to stay in London.

"Convenience and value in London Docklands"
Better price for room with breakfast than we found any other 4 star hotels in area. Strange entrance, going up in lift to lobby, but otherwise lovely modern design hotel. Easy access to Canary Wharf, good breakfast, situated next to ExCel.

"Lovely hotel"
Excellent hotel for quick overnight stay. Should just remember to order the tea and coffee making facilities as not in room. Staff very helpful. All in all great play to stay as a base for London especially O2.

Although the room was small, everything else made up for it! The location is great - ten mins walk from the Jubilee line which will take you right into downtown London. There are staff at hand 24-7 and they were super helpful and polite. Rooms are tidy, modern and have everything you need. Highly recommended for travelers on a budget!

"Lovely hotel, great location."
Upon arrival at 10am I was by no means expecting to check in, however was planning to leave our luggage with the concierge. Reception advised for a small fee we could upgrade to an executive room that would include breakfast, access to the executive lounge and that a room was available to check-in there and then. This was great value for money. The hotel is modern, clean and tidy. Staff are all attentive and friendly. In terms of location it is excellent. Minutes from the Jubilee line and DLR. Also minutes from the booming centre of Canary Wharf with a host of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was nice, big selection - not as big as some Hilton hotels but a good standard never the less. I was however extremely disappointed with room service. The menu changes from the day menu to the night menu at 11pm. I called at 11.01 to be told if it wasn't on the menu it couldn't be made. This was for basic dishes like nachos or fries -that would of taken minutes to pull together. I was then disappointed with the food that we did receive. This was my only negative to an otherwise perfect experience.
