Amazing Vacations....

Staff was friendly, and the food was good—unless you eat at the beach, where the refrigerators are weak. Room was clean, though some outlets didn’t work and the shower sometimes had issues. Beach has a lot of rocks under the water, so be careful, and there’s some sargassum. Overall: A good resort with tasty food.

From arrival at the resort the excellent service begins when greeted personally at both the gated entrance and at the hotel entrance. Staff were immaculately uniformed, pleasant, polite and very friendly. The room was exceptional, very spacious and well equipped. Room service excelled. The choice of restaurants and quality of food was excellent. Only one night did we have an issue with the food being served cold, it was quickly resolved and staff were centrally informed of the issue. No booking necessary and dress code applies for afternoon dining at the many pools available. How could we fault their magnificent resort.. well… up until the day before leaving I was seriously ill after somehow catching food poisoning. It had to come from the resort as it was the only place we ate. The hotel doctor was in attendance and immediately called an ambulance. I was treated exceptionally well in the hospital but missed our flights as I wasn’t fit to fly. The hotel group at this point weren’t considerate. We needed to stay an extra 2 days at almost full rate. This was hugely disappointing as the illness was directly connected to the hotel. This cast a shadow on the otherwise attentive service received.. We felt the hotel should have given us a good discount but wouldn’t budge in their decision. The 2 days we had to stay before organising frights, hotel and connecting flights was far from a holiday. I was still very ill although doctors cleared me to fly. I didn’t eat or drink an

First let me say, the staff is amazing and everyone goes above and beyond to take care of you. Our butler Lisandro was amazing, always checking in to make sure we were doing good and had everything we needed. The bartender ANGEL at the lobby bar was superb. Made amazing drinks and was super fun and entertaining. My only complaint of this hotel is that even though it’s the newer of the three Majestic resorts, it is pretty beaten up and not well taken care of. I had an Ac leak in my room, there was a roach found on my bed, the bathroom stall had mold and dirt. The place overall needs better keep up and maintenance. Also, food was not very good this time around. Seafood restaurant my lobster was terrible and the steak was a disappointment. I give the staff of the hotel a 5 but the hotel itself and needs maintenance needs lots of maintenance and upgrade work. Oh, and you better pray you don’t have to request a refund for any reason because it is not happening. The Dominican Republic has this ridiculous thing what once you swipe a credit card, they will not die any reason refund or cancel anything-I’m Dominican and I hate this. Please think hard and long before you swipe your card for anything.

Amazing Vacations....

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff makes "Excellence, Excellent. I truly hope the Owners/Franchise/CEO takes care of the individuals who work for them, without them it wouldn't be what it is. Although everyone was AMAZING a few names stood out to us Beni, Jonathan, Edwin (Servers) Neicy (Host) & Jesus & Hector Front desk. All of them made our trip feel so special & truly "Thank" them for that. We loved all the food/restaurants this resort had to offer. Spice was our favorite! 10/10 recommend them all though as every single one is delicious. Shows in the evening were spectacular. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, house keeping was so kind and AMAZING. The only thing that broke my heart was seeing others on vacation not tip. If you can't afford to leave a few dollars after these kind souls waited on you and took care of you their entire night then stay home and go work for free on your own time. I understand It's an all inclusive resort & tipping isn't mandatory, but come on now. Some people just suck, but not all of us. 😊 I appreciated every soul & every smile.
