8.4/10 Very good! (501 reviews)
Only spent one night but had a great experience at Hotel Casa Rústica. The timing of our travels meant we arrived in Antigua at 6am. There was no early check in available for us but the staff were extremely helpful and let us drop our bags and use the facilities throughout the day. They also provided some coupons for some of the local businesses. Some staff spoke English but most primarily spoke Spanish - our interactions helped me practice my Spanish and they were patient. Room was small and bed was quite firm but still was a pleasant experience for the price. Definitely an older property (as with every building in historical Antigua) but felt comfortable. Location was perfect only a block away from the Central Park and a few blocks from the arch and all other attractions. Access to kitchen facilities was a bonus and hot water in the showers was great. I would stay here again if passing through Antigua.

"Beautiful hotel right on the lake. Had a small issue with the staff charging more at check-in but they quickly corrected it. Other than that, the staff and location were great. The only other small suggestion would be to improve the ac in the rooms. There is ac in the rooms but it doesn’t work ..."
