We unfortunately had the sorghum(?) to deal with on the island so not much time spent at the hotels beach. But there are pools, a great restaurant and staff to make up for it. We went in the slow season and totally expected slower service etc… but not here. Quick to answer any issue and laundry if needed. Amazing. And secret beach is only a small golf cart ride away so we didn’t miss any ocean time. And White Sands diving picks up right at the dock! You’ll love it!!!

If you are looking for the big box hotels this is not the place for you..Bella Vista is quaint, relaxing, personable..nature at its best..beautiful family friendly resort..I enjoyed staying here for our anniversary..They even set up a private romantic dinner for us on our anniversary..we were super excited and surprised..I will not stay anywhere else on Ambergris caye i San Pedro..this is it ..I fell in love with all the staff..especially Linda our morning crew at breakfast and lunch..We will be back soon Bella Vista.
