Central Switzerland Pet-friendly Vacations

Restuarant was quite good especially with the August BBQ grill going. Breakfast was underwhelming but OK. Room was interesting, industrial sheik. Electrical outlets were woefully under designed and old fashioned for newer construction, probably due to the all poured concrete nature of the structure. Terrible towels! Good location for train and bus access. All in all the place to stay if you are in Rotkreuz.

Great hotel. Excellent food options! We were very impressed with the food at the brasserie. Our room was perfect and we loved the layout. Our only complaint iwas that they shut the bar down for a private party at 10pm. We found that very odd and disappointing that we couldn’t have a night cap at our hotel. But it was obviously not the end of the world. We felt they should have rented out a private spaces to the group and not block hotel guests from using the hotel bar.

Location was excellent. Too bad to have to pay CHF 12 to use the gym. Overall a good hotel for the price point

Very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. Our own controllable A/C unit was in the room! Great views of the town. The funicular makes getting down to town quick and easy. Large Parking area. Me and my wife both agree that Château Gütsch is a must stay when visiting Luzern, and a room with a city view is well worth the extra cost.

We loved our stay here. The AC was great since it was hot when we were there. The staff was kind and helpful. There is free still and sparkling water on tap in the lobby to refill water bottles and the beds were cozy and comfortable.

Pros: extremity convenient to the central train station, restaurants, attractions. Property does have a small (lift) elevator, Free bowl of fruit to pick from at the front desk, a complimentary jar of water in your room, plenty of clean linens. 2 oscillating fans in our room, small safe for valuable's. nice balcony wth seating to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the street and buildings, complimentary coffee and coffee machine, iron, hair dryer and ironing board provided. Stick in your ears earplugs provided Cons: no air conditioning, it was very hot, windows and doors open up great but the restaurant/ bar/ street traffic was very noisy, we didn’t really sleep till the bars closed and the streets cleared, and the temperature cooled Down some, but then the early morning delivery trucks , street sweepers would start up, Desk lamp did not work and was never addressed even after several reports via various means. We deviantly not stay hear again due to the noise and heat,
