The front desk staff was great. Had everything one would need. The best thing however was the view you get from the room, absolutely gorgeous.

It’s up on the hill. The lake view from the balcony is breathtaking. The front office is open from 8am -8pm. The staffs are very nice.

Very nice old building, well maintained. Beautiful balcony view overlooking the lake and city. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cost to park vehicle very expensive.

Firstly, the staff were excellent and this review does not reflect on them. The hotel was like it was out of "The Shining". After 6pm there were no staff at all in the entire building and music was playing on empty corridors. Very spooky. The restaurant was closed, there was no bar, there was no breakfast other than some croissants and coffee. The rooms were basic and sparse,however the view was magnificient. Location was good just a short bus journey of 15 min walk into town. It desperately needs life injecting into it with a bar, 24/7 staff , a restaurant etc etc. We won't stay again until that changes.

Absolutely lovely lake views from the front facing rooms. The hotel has a simple business model (light on staff, no cooked meals, no room service ) which makes it an excellent choice if looking for an affordable but special place to stay. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
