Great Stay!

The room was clean everything was well maintained the beach area was nice

My wife and I stayed at Bayside Boutique Hotel. All the staff were wonderful, but a special shout-out goes to Queenie and Melissa. The hotel is in a large gated resort called Blue Bay, which is so huge it requires a car to get around (tip: rent from R&R). The hotel is right next to the stunning Blue Bay beach. It has 38 rooms built on the side of a hill, where rooms 1xx are on the same level as the restaurant, 2xx are on the same level as the pool, 301-304 share a small balcony overlooking the pool, and 401-404 have large private balconies. We were in 402, so lots of climbing up stairs, but worth it for the view. A road at the side of the hotel has ample free parking, so we could park almost right outside our room and avoid all those steps. We had a bedroom with safe/TV, living room with couch/TV, a small but fully equipped kitchen, and a large bathroom with separate bath/shower/double sinks. Electrical outlets are 240v and accept 2 cylindrical prongs, so north Americans need a converter and adapter. Every morning we had a wonderful cooked breakfast included in our package, and a choice of restaurants at the beach serving everything from snacks to fine dining. Just outside the resort is Baby Monkey food truck (good burgers), Centrum grocery store, and Sambil shopping center. In summary, Curacao is a wonderful place to visit, and Blue Bay is a beautiful resort with an outstanding beach. Within the resort, there’s no better place to stay than Bayside Boutique Hotel. I don’t want a refund, my toilet in my room didn’t even work. The food was bad, and the TV was awful! Air conditioning was also very poor…hot sleeping every night!!!! Sunscape is a motel 6 from the 80’s!!! Awful!

My husband and I recently stayed at Baoase Luxury Resort to celebrate our 8-year wedding anniversary, and I can honestly say our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Being greeted personally throughout the property made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for rather than simply being guests at a hotel. Every interaction we had with the staff was warm, gracious, and attentive. The service never felt forced or overly formal—it was effortless, genuine hospitality. The entire team has mastered the art of anticipating what guests need while still allowing you to completely relax and enjoy the experience. Celebrating our 8th anniversary at Baoase was everything we hoped it would be and more. It gave us the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate our marriage in a truly beautiful place. We have stayed at wonderful luxury properties over the years, but Baoase is one of those rare places that stays with you!
